Appearance
Venna Sheshashvili is a human woman with a compact, wiry build and an unnervingly still posture. Her tattoos coil across her throat, arms, ribs, and hands in chaotic geometric patterns, intricate and wild, vanishing beneath the edges of a torn black leather jacket. Her dark hair is cropped close to the scalp, with shaved sides and a sharp shock of silver at her right temple. Her eyes are pale gray, alert and sleepless, and her smile often arrives a moment before her mood does. She wears modern clothing in muted blacks, grays, and rust-red, with no armor and no visible weapons.
Mannerisms
Venna leans against doorframes as though waiting for the building to confess. She speaks too softly when angry, repeats the final word of another person's sentence, and studies reflections instead of faces. When listening, she traces invisible shapes over her tattoos with one finger.
Personality
Venna is unhinged, observant, theatrical, and intensely obsessive. She treats every conversation as an interrogation disguised as a game. She can be magnetic when she wants something, but her attention is invasive and difficult to escape. She has a morbid fascination with patterns, repeated gestures, contradictory statements, and the precise moment a person realizes they have been deceived.
Ideals
Identity is a tool, not a prison. Anyone who claims to know exactly who they are is either lying or too unimaginative to be dangerous.
Bonds
A small circle of former clients believes Venna died years ago. She protects them from the people who profited from her old schemes, even when they would be safer without her. She also keeps one unfinished tattoo, a broken spiral copied from the notebook of the only con artist who ever recognized what she was becoming.
Flaws
Venna cannot leave a lie alone once she has told it. She keeps elaborating until the deception becomes more elaborate than reality, then becomes furious when anyone tries to simplify it. She is obsessive, suspicious, and capable of treating casual kindness as a trap. When frightened, she becomes cruelly playful.
Quirks
Background
Venna Sheshashvili grew up among human merchants, dockside gamblers, and traveling performers, the daughter of a woman who could sell a worthless charm as a cure and a father who vanished whenever debts came due. She learned early that people rarely wanted truth. They wanted reassurance, mystery, or permission to believe they were clever. Venna became a charlatan before she understood the word, adopting names, accents, illnesses, and sacred visions as easily as other children changed clothes. Her talent for observation made every deception precise, while her unnerving intensity made even obvious lies feel like dangerous secrets.
