No. Text generation costs no gold on any account and has no daily limit. A paid plan adds editing after generation and campaign context in every generator. It does not change the price of text generation, which stays free.
Gold is the credit for images, video, audio and session processing. The cost depends on the model, the quality and the number of outputs. On GPT Image 2, the recommended model, a draft image is 1 gold, a standard image 8 and a high-detail image 25. A 5-second video starts at 30 gold. A sound effect is 1 gold and a song starts at 5. Session processing is 45 gold per hour of play on Standard. The exact cost shows before you generate.
Plus includes 900 gold a month, about 900 draft images or 36 high-detail images. Elite includes 2,000 gold (2,000 draft or 80 high-detail). Ultimate includes 4,500 gold (4,500 draft or 180 high-detail). Mix and match across images, video, audio and sessions. Unused gold banks for 3 months' worth.

Yes. 900 gold costs £9.99 a month on Plus and £14.99 as a one-time pack. The gap is larger on an annual plan. Packs are for topping up. A plan is the cheaper way to buy gold every month, and it unlocks the tools as well.
Your gold comes back automatically and the page shows a Retry button. Gold is not refunded for a result you do not like, so the cheapest way to iterate is to draft at Low quality (1 gold on GPT Image 2) and re-run the one you want at High.
Yes. Every premium model gives a free account 3 tries. A try still costs the model's gold price. After the 3 tries, the model needs a paid plan. 50+ models never need a plan.
All three unlock the same models and tools. They differ in the monthly gold (900, 2,000 and 4,500), the free custom LoRAs (1, 2 and 3 a month), and what Elite adds: 5,000 free GPT Image 2 draft images every month, free session storyboards, a priority queue and commercial usage rights. Ultimate raises the draft image allowance to 15,000 and adds premium support and batch tools.
Subscriptions include product features and a monthly Gold allowance, and their gold is cheaper. Gold packs are one-time purchases. Pack Gold never expires, is never capped and does not start a subscription.
Elite includes 5,000 and Ultimate 15,000 GPT Image 2 images at Low quality every month, at no gold cost. The month runs from the date you subscribed. After that, Low quality images use your gold balance at the standard price of 1 gold. Medium and High quality always cost gold. Failed or cancelled jobs do not count toward the allowance.
Yes. You can cancel renewal at any time. Your benefits continue until the end of the current billing period. Stripe handles all payments securely.
No. Gold never expires. One-time gold pack credits are also never capped, so pack gold is always added to your balance in full. Unused subscription gold rolls over into your Gold Bank, which holds up to 3 months' worth of your plan's monthly allowance. If your Gold Bank is full when your subscription renews, that month's gold is not added, and spending gold makes room again. The 3 months' size takes effect on 1 December 2026. Until then, your Gold Bank holds up to 6 months' worth.
Commercial usage rights are included with Elite and Ultimate subscriptions. Free and Plus plan images are for personal use only. One-time gold pack images follow the same terms as your current subscription tier.
