Your CharGen creations can now go straight into Foundry VTT as real, ready-to-use documents, not just plain text.

Per item: Every NPC, monster, character, magic item, and map now has a Foundry VTT (.json) option in the Export menu. Download it, then use Foundry's built-in Import Data to bring in a fully statted Actor, an Item, a worldbuilding Journal, or a Scene from your battlemap. Abilities, HP, AC, CR, skills, and the full action list all carry over.

Whole campaigns: Open any campaign or session-prep bundle and pick Export to Foundry (.zip). CharGen builds a small installable module with everything you've linked. Drop it in your Foundry modules folder, enable it, and import every Actor, Item, and Journal in one click.

Both dnd5e and Savage Worlds (SWADE) are supported, and Foundry pulls your portraits and maps directly from CharGen.

Our newest model, Rodin v2.5, turns a text prompt or a reference image into a detailed 3D model. Describe a character, a weapon, or a prop, or upload an image you already made on CharGen, and get back a clean, textured mesh.

The headline: you can export to STL, the format home and hobby 3D printers read, so you can print your party as tabletop miniatures. Building a scene or a game instead? Export to GLB, USDZ, FBX, or OBJ as well.

Choose a quality tier (Standard or Extreme-High) and add the High-Detail Pack when you want extra geometry. Rodin v2.5 is available to subscribers, from 45 gold per model.

Every campaign can now have its own cover image. Open a campaign, hit Set cover, and pick from your party portraits, choose any image from your gallery, or generate a fresh one on the spot. The cover appears as a full width banner across the top of the campaign page, and on your campaign cards in the dashboard, so each campaign is easy to recognise at a glance. Want a change? Swap it or remove it anytime.

Your campaigns now track what the party is chasing and every loose end they leave behind. CharGen reads your session recaps and pulls out Quests (goals with objectives and outcomes) and Plot Threads (the open questions and mysteries), then hands them to you in a review queue so you stay in control of what sticks.

Each quest is a living ledger: objectives you can tick off, a progress log, rewards, and the NPCs, factions, locations, and items it touches as clickable links. Plot threads get their own notes log, and you can drop an @-mention into a note to link a monster, location, or character in one keystroke. When a thread grows into something bigger, promote it straight to a quest.

Quests, Threads, Factions, and Items now live as tabs right inside your campaign and session pages, so you never have to leave the table to see where the story stands.

One recap, any voice. You can now restyle your spoiler-free teaser and your short and full plot summaries in the tone that fits your table: Neutral, Hype Trailer, Ye Olde, Noir, Comedic, or Epic Bard, at one-liner, short, or paragraph length. Pick a tone, pick a length, apply. Restyling is available to subscribers.

Sharing your campaign without spoiling your players just got easier. Every session recap now comes with a spoiler-free episode teaser: a short, share-ready blurb that sets the scene and builds intrigue without giving away what happened. Drop it into your podcast description, stream title, or the players channel. No more pasting your recap into another AI to scrub the spoilers. Free to edit and copy on every recap.

Your recaps and generated content can now leave CharGen looking the part. Export any recap, NPC, monster, or magic item as Homebrewery markdown and paste it into homebrewery.naturalcrit.com for that classic printed-sourcebook look, full stat blocks and all. Prefer a vault? The Obsidian export now writes proper Fantasy Statblocks YAML with wikilinks, so your world stays connected. Markdown and JSON are there too, and one toggle brings the cover art along. Find it under the Export menu on any recap or entity.

Every session you wrap now gets a five-panel comic strip showing the key beats of the night. The art picks out the moments that mattered, framed like a graphic novel page.

If you're on Elite or Ultimate, one storyboard generates automatically as soon as your recap finishes. Other tiers can spin one up for 60 gold from the new Storyboard tab on every session page.

Customize gives you finer control: pick the aspect ratio (landscape, portrait, or square) and optionally choose the exact five events the panels should depict. History keeps every storyboard you've made for that session.

Failed generations refund automatically. Cancel a stuck one if you need to start over.

Drop a custom puzzle into any session in under a minute. Generate riddles, glyph ciphers, mechanism rooms, ritual circles, and combination locks. Each one comes complete with the handout players read, a top-down apparatus diagram, a DM script (boxed read-aloud introduction, lead-up notes, pacing tips), a graded hint ladder you reveal tier by tier, and a sealed solution and answer key only you see.

Everything a DM actually needs to run the puzzle at the table is structured into clear tabs: a Brief showing the scene and the puzzle artifact, the DM Script for read-aloud prep, Mechanics for components and checks, Solving for the answer behind a spoiler wall, and Aftermath for promoting any usable item the players find into a full magic item entity. Run a full session from a single click. The Quest Generator builds the whole arc — opening hook, scene runsheet, named cast, encounters, twists, complications, and rewards — and lays it out the way a DM actually scans it at the table.

The new Hook & Story page reads like a magazine spread: drop-cap quote, questgiver portrait, numbered rumour table. The Scene Runsheet is a connected timeline — every row is a beat to run, with setting, story moment, follow-up, and the encounter or twist it triggers. Pin a scene and its next beat follows you down the page. A persistent DM toolbox sits in the right rail: location, tone, questgiver, quest flags you can tick off, and a watch list of the faces you need to stay alert to.

Everything is editable inline — chip a stat, rename a scene, rewrite a dialogue cue. Cast, encounter monsters, and reward items get a one-click Promote button that spins them into their own NPC dossier, Monster statblock, or Magic Item card and links them back automatically. Once linked, their full portraits surface on the quest page. GM-only beats — hidden truths and twists — live behind a wax-seal reveal that only the quest's owner can ever see.

Generate entire fantasy peoples — not just characters of a race, but the people itself. Each Species comes with name, italic Latin-style binomial, creature type, size, lifespan, biology, society, languages, homelands, age categories, subspecies, famous members, and how they relate to neighbouring peoples. The result reads like a page from a naturalist's field guide.

Four game-system options. D&D 5e (2024) ships with the new prose-led ability-score flavor — no locked +2/+1, matching the 2024 PHB. D&D 5e (2014) keeps the legacy framing. Pathfinder 2E uses heritage-oriented language. Generic Fantasy strips system mechanics entirely for pure worldbuilding.

Cross-entity linking. Every NPC, Character, Monster, Settlement, Region, Faction, Tavern and Shop now plugs into Species. NPCs with a free-form race string can become a fully-fledged linked Species in one click. Settlements show their Peoples, Regions show Native Species, Factions show Common Members.

Spawn outward. From a Species page, generate a linked NPC, homeland Region, characteristic Settlement, or affiliated Faction. Each new entity links back automatically.

Plus a 4–6 page PDF export, branded Share Card, public browse at /browse/species, Obsidian markdown export, sitemap inclusion, and a Visual Sheet output for the table.

A new generator for fantasy religions. Give it a name, a theme, and a number of gods (between 3 and 12), and you get a full pantheon back: domains, alignments, tenets, sacred motifs, holy days, allies, enemies, and the mythos that ties them together.

There are two modes. Quick takes a count and a vibe and writes the whole thing. Detailed gives you a card per deity so you can hint at a domain, alignment, or theme before generating, and leave any field blank if you want the AI to invent it.

Each pantheon opens to a Council view with three tabs (Overview, Deities, Mythos). The Deities tab gives every god its own dashboard: portrait, identity, tenets, worshipper beliefs, and a relationship orbit you can click to jump between gods.

You can spawn any deity as a full NPC, regenerate one god without rewriting the rest of the pantheon, edit every field inline, export the whole religion to PDF, and share a Pantheon card.

There is also a Religion and Mythos session-prep template that pairs a pantheon with a seat of worship, a clerical faction, and three priests.

Two new premium audio models just landed in CharGen: Mureka V9 Music and Mureka V9 BGM.

Mureka V9 Music is built for full songs from prompt + lyrics, while Mureka V9 BGM is focused on cinematic ambient background tracks from simple prompts.

These are a major quality step up for campaign audio: cleaner mixes, stronger mood control, and more usable first-pass results. Both models are now live at a flat 5 gold cost.

Campaign session notes have been completely reimagined. The slate-grey "dashboard" look is gone — in its place, a warm, parchment-dark reading experience built around how DMs actually use these notes between sessions: glance, recall, prep.

A campaign that feels like a campaign. Every campaign now opens onto a Living Timeline — past sessions laid out chronologically, with each session showing its recap, key beats, NPCs introduced, locations visited, and combats fought, all in one expandable card. Numbered like chapters. Set in Fraunces serif, with workshop-gold accents.

Three new ways to navigate your world. The campaign hub now has dedicated rooms for Memory (your tracked NPCs, monsters, locations, and players, with portraits), Review (a triage inbox for candidate entities the AI extracted but isn't sure about yet, with side-by-side merge suggestions), and Threads (an emerging dashboard of unresolved plot threads derived from your sessions).

Sessions read like notes, not forms. Each session page now opens with an ambient hero — the session's name in caps, a one-line recap in italic prose, and the audio waveform strip directly below. The body is a three-column reading layout: plot tabs (Plot · Events · Actions · Highlights · Cast · Word Cloud · Threads) on the left, the chosen content in the centre, the cast rail on the right. Every entity name in the prose is linkified — hover to see who/where/what without leaving the page.

Hover anywhere, get context. The new entity hover card surfaces a portrait, the entity's aliases, a one-line bio, and a mention-range bar showing which sessions referenced them. From the hover card you can jump straight to the entity dossier — or, for candidates the AI flagged, merge them into an existing tracked entity in a single click.

Merging that's frictionless. Candidate entities (the AI's "I'm not sure if this is the same person as…" finds) now merge in one click. Hover the candidate, click "Merge into…", pick the target from a list of similarity-scored matches, and the system auto-renames every reference across every session's transcript and recap.

The whole thing is built on a single Workshop visual system — warm parchment-dark surfaces, Fraunces display type, per-entity-type accent colours (sky-blue for NPCs, red for monsters, teal for locations, workshop-gold for players), and one-of-a-kind atmospheric hero imagery for every campaign and session.

The CharGen Affiliate Programme is live. Twenty-five percent commission on every paying customer you refer, paid in cash to PayPal or Wise — open to creators of any audience size, no application form, no approval queue.

The Character Sheet generator now supports five distinct visual styles — Dark Fantasy, Fantasy, Heraldic Atlas, Curated Catalogue, and Codex Showcase. Pick the look that fits the entity: sweeping atlas spreads for capital cities, auction-house catalogues for shops and treasure hoards, single-subject codex pages for legendary artifacts, and the original Cypher-bestiary Dark Fantasy for NPCs and monsters.

Each entity type opens to a recommended style by default — marked with a gold ★ Rec badge — so you don't have to think about it. Click any other style card and the live preview swaps to show what you'll actually get before you spend gold. Your last choice per entity type is remembered, too.

Plus a handful of quality-of-life upgrades: Redo now returns to the picker so you can change style or quality before regenerating, your previous sheet is preserved in the gallery, and Expand / Open in Gallery / Download all support ⌘-click to open in new tabs. Also fixed a backend bug where Shop and Tavern sheets sometimes rendered with the title "Unknown" — names now resolve correctly across all entity types.

Dungeons have always had a procedural layout map — the floor plan with numbered rooms, doors and traps. Session Prep V3 completely reimagines how bundles work. Instead of generating disconnected entities, the AI now writes a cohesive narrative first — a living world where every NPC, location, and encounter is woven together with shared history, relationships, and secrets.
