Appearance
Grax is a tall, imposing orc with grey skin and trimmed tusks. He wears a high collar black leather duster over matte black tactical plating. Instead of flowing robes, he opts for tailored dark trousers and reinforced boots. A silver pendant of a mask is wrapped around his gloved hand.
Mannerisms
He has a habit of tapping his silver pendant against his tusks when he is deep in thought or annoyed.
Personality
Dry, cynical, and surprisingly professional. Grax treats divinity like a business transaction. He speaks in short sentences and always scouts for exits before sitting down. He has no patience for zealots but will move mountains for his chosen crew.
Ideals
Efficiency. If you're going to do a job, do it right or don't do it at all. Loyalty is the only currency that doesn't devalue.
Bonds
The small orphan gang in the lower docks. I funnel most of my tithes back to them to ensure they have better options than I did.
Flaws
I assume everyone has an angle, which makes it impossible for me to truly trust even my own allies.
Quirks
Background
Grax started his life in the gutters of a sprawling metropole, running heists for the Iron Tusk Syndicate. During a botched warehouse job, he was cornered by a rival gang. In the darkness of the loading dock, he made a desperate plea for an exit. A trickster deity answered, not with a miracle of light, but with a perfect shadow. He escaped, leaving his past behind but keeping the skills he learned in the shadows. He spent the next twenty years refining the art of the divine con, realizing that faith is the ultimate heist. He doesn't pray for forgiveness, he prays for the right timing and a silent footfall. Now at the peak of his power, Grax operates as a high tier fixer, using his divine duplicates to be in two places at once while he drains the secrets of the corrupt. He has become the saint of the lawless, a protector of those the traditional gods have forgotten.
