Appearance
A broad-shouldered half-orc with moss-green skin, a shaved head save for a small topknot, and a quiet, watchful gaze. His monk's wraps are worn and patched, his bare forearms marked with simple ash-gray prayer lines and a few old scars. He carries himself with the coiled stillness of a mountain cat, and even at rest he seems ready to move like wind over stone.
Mannerisms
Speaks softly and slowly, often pausing to breathe once before answering. He bows his head when passing a shrine, instinctively counts heartbeats before entering danger, and unconsciously rubs his thumbs together when thinking.
Personality
Quiet, patient, and unexpectedly gentle, Brakka listens more than he speaks. He is earnest to a fault, treats every promise as sacred, and has the calm confidence of someone who has already learned how badly rage can wound the soul.
Ideals
Mercy. A strong hand should protect, not dominate. Every life has the right to be defended, even the life of a foe who can still be turned away from violence.
Bonds
He keeps a prayer scroll from his dead master and will risk himself to preserve it, along with the teachings it contains.
Flaws
He is slow to trust authority, and when his temper is finally provoked, the anger he has spent years mastering can return with frightening force.

Background
Born to a half-orc raiding family that never fully trusted him because he would not strike first, Brakka learned early that strength meant little without restraint. He was larger than most children and quicker to anger, but the first time he caught himself before breaking a village boy's jaw, an old monk from a hillside cloister told him that mercy was not weakness, it was discipline. Brakka followed that monk into seclusion, trading the clamor of camps and battle horns for dawn bells, stone courtyards, and hours of breath control until his fury became a tool instead of a weapon. Years later, a fever swept the hermitage. Brakka survived while his master did not, and in the wake of that grief he chose the life of a hermit, wandering alone through wild places to tend shrines, bury the dead, and listen for the quiet wisdom hidden in rivers, roots, and ruins. He now travels with a small scroll case of prayers and a herbalism kit, believing the world can be healed one wound, one oath, and one act of courage at a time. Though he has the face of a warrior, he fights like a guardian, stepping between danger and the helpless with solemn patience and a fist that only hardens when every gentler path has failed.
