  Kathos can briefly surround himself with controlled sorcerous power, improving his spell save DC and adding his Charisma modifier to one damage roll of a sorcerer spell.

  Kathos can cast sorcerer spells using Charisma as his spellcasting ability. He can use an arcane focus as a spellcasting focus and has four sorcerer cantrips and nine prepared sorcerer spells at this level.

• Font of MagicLevel 2

  Kathos has 7 Sorcery Points. He regains all expended points when he finishes a long rest. He can convert spell slots to Sorcery Points or create spell slots by spending Sorcery Points according to the sorcerer table.

• Sorcerous OriginLevel 3

  Kathos has chosen Draconic Sorcery as his sorcerous origin. His magic manifests as ember-bright energy and the resonant, almost musical cadence of an ancient red dragon.

• Ability Score ImprovementLevel 4

  Kathos gains one feat at this level. He has chosen Ability Score Improvement, increasing Charisma from 16 to 17 as reflected in his final ability scores.

• Sorcery RestorationLevel 5

  Kathos can regain expended Sorcery Points by finishing a short rest once per long rest. He can also temporarily alter the damage type of a spell by spending Sorcery Points when permitted by his sorcerer features.

• Draconic ResilienceLevel 6

  Kathos's draconic magic grants him a draconic resilience. His hit point maximum increases by 7, and when he is not wearing armor, his AC equals 10 plus his Dexterity modifier plus his Charisma modifier.

  Kathos has learned to turn unstable magic into deliberate variations through his four chosen Metamagic options: Careful Spell, Distant Spell, Empowered Spell, and Subtle Spell.

• TraitTieflingDarkvision, Kathos can see in dim light within 60 feet as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light, though he sees darkness in shades of gray.
• Fiendish Legacy, InfernalTieflingKathos has resistance to fire damage and knows Thaumaturgy. At character level 3, he can cast Hellish Rebuke once per long rest without a spell slot, and at character level 5, he can cast Darkness once per long rest without a spell slot. He can also cast these spells using available spell slots.
