Appearance
Aurelia is a tall, graceful drow woman with obsidian skin, waist length white hair, and luminous violet eyes. Her lightly armored robes are cut in the style of a surface world samurai's battle garments, combining layered black silk, lacquered spider silk plates, and crimson house colors. A curved scimitar hangs at her hip, while a second rests across her back. Tiny spiders move beneath the folds of her clothing, occasionally emerging to crawl across her wrists, shoulders, or face. Her beauty is precise and intimidating, carefully cultivated as another instrument of interrogation.
Mannerisms
Aurelia bows with rigid formality before asking a question, even when speaking to prisoners. She maintains unbroken eye contact, speaks in a soft measured tone, and pauses to listen whenever a spider moves inside her robes. When angered, she becomes more polite rather than less.
Personality
Aurelia is poised, observant, and intensely devout. She treats every conversation as an investigation and every gesture as evidence. Her beauty and refinement are deliberate tools, maintained with the same discipline she brings to sword practice. She is patient with the fearful, fascinated by the deceptive, and openly contemptuous of anyone who mistakes kindness for mercy.
Ideals
Devotion. A worthy servant does not merely obey Lolth, she anticipates the Spider Queen's desires and makes obedience beautiful.
Bonds
House Malice gave me purpose, status, and a name. I will destroy every traitor who threatens it, even if the traitor is kin.
Flaws
I cannot tolerate unanswered questions, and I would rather risk disaster than admit that Lolth's will may be hidden from me. I mistake fear for respect and often push loyal allies until they become enemies.

Background
Aurelia Malice was born beneath the vaulted caverns of Menzoberranzan, a favored daughter of a minor branch of House Malice. From infancy, she was presented to Lolth's priestesses as an offering of potential, beauty, and obedience. Her first memory is of a spider descending upon her cradle. Rather than scream, Aurelia held out one finger and allowed it to crawl across her hand. The priestesses declared the moment an omen. Aurelia believed them completely, and devoted every breath thereafter to proving worthy of the Spider Queen's notice. As she matured, Aurelia became an investigator of her house, hunting treason, cowardice, forbidden alliances, and signs of insufficient devotion. She learned to read a suspect's posture as easily as she read sacred scripture, and she weaponized courtesy, charm, and silence before drawing steel. During an investigation involving a captured surface traveler, she became fascinated by tales of disciplined warriors who followed a rigid code of honor and served a single lord unto death. Aurelia transformed the idea into her own blasphemous imitation of bushido, believing that personal honor is merely obedience refined into an art form. She now fights with curved blades, bows formally before interrogations, and treats every confession as a gift laid before Lolth. Her constant companions are the spiders nesting inside her robes. Some are ordinary hunting spiders, others are strangely intelligent descendants of a brood found in a sealed shrine. Aurelia feeds them drops of her own blood and whispers questions to them before entering a suspect's chamber. Whether they truly understand her or merely react to vibrations and scent, they have repeatedly led her to hidden doors, false walls, and concealed documents. Aurelia considers their presence proof that Lolth watches through many eyes.
