Appearance
A lean young elf with sun-kissed skin, fern-green eyes, and dark hair usually tied back with strips of barkcloth. He wears practical woodland garb under a druid's leather armor, carries a carved shield, and often smells faintly of herbs, smoke, and rain-soaked leaves. His hands are nicked from gathering and cutting, and he has the watchful, alert posture of someone who grew up listening to the forest as much as people.
Mannerisms
Speaks softly to animals and plants as if they are old acquaintances. He unconsciously checks the wind before entering a room, and when nervous he rubs his thumb over the grain of wood, bark, or bone. Around royalty he straightens his posture and becomes careful with every word, as if each syllable might decide his future.
Personality
Corsian is gentle, observant, and quietly stubborn. He listens more than he speaks, but when he does speak it is usually with surprising warmth or an earnest, almost formal sincerity. He has a habit of trying to help first and ask questions later, especially when someone or something is hurt.
Ideals
Self-worth, a person is not born to a fate written by rumor or blood. Corsian believes he must earn his place in the world through courage, skill, and kindness, and that even the lowest-born soul can rise high enough to protect what they love.
Bonds
Corsian loves Lufu Lorindur with a devotion he has never been able to confess freely, and he still carries the promise he made to return worthy of her hand. He is fiercely loyal to Fōda, who gave him a home when no one else would, and he is determined to prove that his life is not a curse but a blessing to those he protects.
Flaws
He is painfully sensitive to being called cursed, and in moments of shame he can become reckless, trying to prove his worth through impossible feats. His love for Lufu can cloud his judgment, and he may place one person’s approval above his own safety or the needs of the many.
Quirks
Background
Corsian was born in Robinwood, a sheltered woodland settlement where the robins were so constant and bold that the folk named their home after them. His parents died in what most in the village called tragic accidents, though whispers quickly hardened into superstition. Some began calling him Cursian, others shortened it to Curse, and even the kinder voices could not always hide the unease behind the joke. The only person who never treated him like a bad omen was Fōda, the old royal cook, who raised him as his own child and taught him discipline, patience, and the value of every root, berry, and feather the forest offered.
