Appearance
Logan is a tall, broad-shouldered man with the thick, calloused hands of a mason. His dark hair is cropped short and salt-and-pepper stubble covers his rugged jawline. He wears heavy plate armor that is battered and etched with dozens of shallow claw marks and dents. He carries a massive greatsword across his back, its leather-wrapped hilt worn smooth from use.
Mannerisms
He has a habit of folding his massive arms across his chest and staring intently at people's hands while they speak.
Personality
Logan is a man of few words and immovable resolve. He possesses a calm, almost unnerving stillness when facing down a threat. He does not believe in fate or destiny, only in the strength of one's grip on a hilt and the courage to stay when others run. He respects hard work and blunt honesty above all else.
Ideals
Protection. The strong exist to provide a shield for the weak, not to rule over them.
Bonds
I carry a shard of the first stone I ever carved. It reminds me that everything of value must be built with care and defended with iron.
Flaws
I am deeply suspicious of magic and those who use it, believing that power should come from effort rather than mysterious incantations.
Quirks
Background
Logan was born in a quarry town at the foot of the jagged Iron Ridge. He spent his youth cutting stone and building fortifications meant to keep the wild things of the peaks at bay. He was a simple craftsman until the day a displacement of manticores ravaged the valley. While the local militia retreated to the inner keep, Logan stood at the breach of a half-finished wall with nothing but a heavy masonry hammer and his own stubbornness. He held the line alone for nearly an hour, surviving by blood and luck. This event changed his perspective on safety. He realized that walls are only as strong as the people standing before them. He traded his chisel for a greatsword and began a life of wandering. He does not seek glory, but rather seeks to be the shield for those who cannot defend themselves against the monstrous things that lurk in the dark corners of the world.
