Appearance
A tall, broad-shouldered air genasi with warm brown skin faintly veined by pale blue luminescence. His dark hair lifts and drifts as though caught in a gentle breeze, even indoors, and his storm-gray eyes flash silver when he invokes his patron's power. He dresses in a fitted entertainer's coat of indigo and cream, decorated with brass bells, embroidered spirals, and strips of translucent fabric that flutter around him. His hands are callused from weapons and instruments, while faint wisps of cloud curl around his fingers whenever he is excited or angry.
Mannerisms
He punctuates important statements with a small flourish of his fingers, as though conducting an invisible orchestra. When lying, he becomes unusually formal and addresses people by their full names. When angered, he speaks softly while the air around him begins to move.
Personality
Oluwaseyi is magnetic, observant, and difficult to pin down. He enjoys applause, clever arguments, and the moment when a skeptical stranger begins to believe him. Beneath his easy confidence is a constant fear of being trapped, owned, or forgotten, so he keeps moving, keeps joking, and keeps several escape plans ready.
Ideals
Freedom. No one, mortal or immortal, gets to decide where I stand, what I say, or whom I serve.
Bonds
The traveling troupe that raised him is his true family, and he will risk almost anything to protect its people and reputation.
Flaws
He cannot resist turning a tense situation into a performance, even when silence would be wiser. He also treats promises as flexible arrangements, especially when keeping one would cost him freedom or applause.
Quirks
Background
Oluwaseyi Arobasade was born in a caravan that followed the coast and inland trade roads, where his mother sang for merchants and his father repaired instruments beneath bright painted awnings. The family claimed descent from an air elemental who once fell in love with a mortal dancer, though Oluwaseyi considered the story a charming exaggeration until his own breath began stirring candles, lifting curtains, and carrying whispers across crowded rooms. He learned early that an audience could be won with rhythm, confidence, and a well-timed lie, and he became the troupe's singer, acrobat, and quick-handed stage magician.
