Appearance
Keth stands at a massive 7'2" with a hulking 350-pound frame of dense muscle and mottled green-grey skin. His deep green-gray hide is leathery and mapped with white scar tissue from years of service. Coarse, black shoulder-length hair frames a face dominated by deep-set dark eyes and prominent, yellowed, crooked tusks. He wears only what is necessary: a sleeveless leather vest that displays his corded arms, heavy boots, and thick leather trousers. A massive, crudely forged greataxe is always slung across his broad shoulders.
Mannerisms
Keth speaks in a low, gravelly rumble and rarely uses more than five words at a time. He has a habit of tapping his knuckles against his belt whenever he is waiting for an order.
Personality
Keth is a man of few words and immovable resolve. He carries himself with the quiet confidence of a predator who knows he is the largest thing in any room. He is professional to a fault in his duties as an enforcer, viewing violence not as a thrill, but as a specific tool to be applied with precision. Outside of work, he is surprisingly stoic, finding more comfort in the silence of a cold drink or the focus of a dice game than in tavern brawls or boastful talk.
Ideals
Loyalty. A soldier is nothing without his word. When I take a coin or a command, I see it through to the end.
Bonds
House Malavhan is the only thing keeping me from the gallows or the gutter. I will protect their interests as if they were my own skin.
Flaws
I am a slave to the roll of the dice. I cannot walk past a game of chance without losing every copper in my purse.
Quirks
Background
Born in the harsh mountain crags far from civilization, Keth Mal-Grog spent his early youth in a mercenary company where survival was the only law. He was trained as a frontline shock trooper, a living engine of war intended to break through enemy lines. However, when his legion was decimated in a disastrous contract, Keth was left as a lone survivor, wandering the coast until his path led him to the merchant city of Westgate. It was here that his sheer physical presence and battlefield discipline caught the attention of House Malavhan. Unlike common thugs, Keth possessed a soldier's temperament, making him the perfect enforcer for a noble house that required discretion along with its brutality. For years, he has served as their primary muscle, patrolling the markets and noble estates of Westgate. He has seen the worst of the city's corruption and has become a part of its machinery. Though he technically lives in luxury compared to his mercenary days, his pockets are almost always empty. His only true vice is high-stakes gambling in the city's underbelly, a habit that keeps him tethered to his work for the Malavhans. He doesn't hold the Malavhan name as his own, but his loyalty to them is absolute as long as the orders are clear.
