Appearance
A striking half-elf woman with a broad, powerful waist, generous curves, warm bronze skin, and long ash-brown hair usually braided with strips of faded military cloth. Her pointed ears and pale green eyes reveal her elven heritage, while a thin scar crosses her left eyebrow. She favors fitted black leather armor beneath a tight, dark red sleeveless top, short practical battle shorts, thigh-high wraps, and a weathered cloak cut short for movement. Her clothing is deliberately bold and athletic, designed to project confidence and make opponents underestimate how quickly she can move.
Mannerisms
She stands with her weight balanced on the balls of her feet, as though every conversation might become an ambush. When someone boasts, she slowly tilts her head and studies their hands. She cleans her rapier whenever she is thinking and never sits with her back to an open doorway.
Personality
Confident, intense, and theatrically self-possessed, Ainoura treats every new person as either a potential rival, a useful teacher, or a future ally. She is unusually observant and can be charming when she wants information, but her pride makes genuine vulnerability difficult. Beneath her hunger for supremacy is a deep fear that being abandoned proved she was never worth keeping.
Ideals
Strength must be proven through action. No ancestry, title, army, or reputation should be accepted as evidence of superiority until it survives a real test.
Bonds
She carries the broken insignia of the unit that abandoned her, and she intends to find every surviving member of that pack. She also protects abandoned soldiers and exiles, though she pretends such mercy is merely an investment in future allies.
Flaws
She cannot leave a challenge unanswered, even when accepting it is tactically foolish. Ainoura confuses fear with respect and sometimes provokes stronger opponents simply to measure herself against them.
Quirks
Background
Ainoura Salima was born among a borderland war-pack of scouts, caravan guards, and hunters who believed that loyalty belonged to the strongest circle, not to any individual. Her half-elven blood made her useful as a negotiator and suspect as a warrior. She learned early to move between cultures, imitate accents, read a campfire mood, and keep one hand near a blade. During a disastrous retreat, her pack abandoned her in a ruined battlefield, assuming the wounded young scout would die beneath the ash and broken shields. She did not die. For weeks, Ainoura survived in the shell of a burned watchtower, training every night with a chipped dagger and a length of chain. She studied patrol routes, copied the enemy's signals, and eventually dismantled the force that had destroyed her unit, killing its commander by slipping through a victory feast disguised as a servant. Revenge brought no peace. Instead, it awakened a sharper hunger, the conviction that she would become the ultimate warrior among every people she encountered. Now she travels as a rogue, collecting techniques, secrets, and weaknesses from soldiers, duelists, monsters, and nobles alike. Her old pack is only the first name on a list that grows whenever someone claims strength makes them untouchable.
