Appearance
Ogrzaku is a blue-scaled dragonborn with a broad, blunt muzzle, pale horn ridges swept back from his brow, and a traveler's sturdy build. His lower jaw shifts slightly to one side when he chews, making his teeth show in an uneven, unmistakable grin. Before answering a question, he takes a quiet breath through his nose and lets it out with a faint rasp.
Mannerisms
Before speaking, he draws a measured breath and makes a faint rasp in his throat. He chews with his jaw angled slightly aside, and his grin exposes the blunt points of his teeth.
Personality
Patient and observant, Ogrzaku prefers to listen until he understands what a person is leaving unsaid. He is generous with practical help, awkward with praise, and quietly funny when he feels safe.
Ideals
The wild does not belong to the strongest. Those who know a safe road have a duty to share it with those who do not.
Bonds
He has promised his sister Binti that he will find the missing travelers whose trail vanished beyond the high pass, and bring back word of what happened.
Flaws
When someone is in danger, he commits to helping before checking whether he has the strength, supplies, or authority to do so. He also hides how much the pact unsettles him, even from people who deserve the truth.
Quirks
Background
Ogrzaku grew up beyond the last reliable road, in a dragonborn family that moved with the seasons and knew the hills by their springs, windbreaks, and animal tracks. He learned to read weather from the taste of the air and to keep a quiet camp. The people of a scattered waystop called Gumbo, named for the stubborn plant that choked its watercourse, trusted him to guide travelers through the rough country. He was happiest when the route was clear and nobody asked him to explain himself.
