Appearance
Mosi Oduro is a young adult male elf with mixed copper-brown skin, a lean athletic build, short curly black hair, and dark brown alert eyes. His face is open and plainly visible, usually held in a quietly defiant expression. Years of cold marches have weathered his cheeks and knuckles, and his posture is balanced and ready, with his weight resting slightly forward as though every pause might become a first step. He wears a snow-white and blue hunter’s coat with intricate woven patterns, a small shoulder capelet, fitted leather bracers, sturdy travel boots, and a pointed white leather tricorn-style hat with subtle horn-like spikes. A golden recurve longbow rests in his hand, with paired curved blades at his belt and a small carved icy focus tied beside them. Blue tracking sigils and snow-like motes gather around his arrows when he works magic.
Mannerisms
Mosi studies the ground while listening, then looks up only when he has formed an answer. When waiting, he balances on the balls of his feet and rolls an arrow slowly between his fingers. He paints quick symbols on scraps of bark to mark routes, warnings, and promises.
Personality
Quiet, observant, and difficult to impress, Mosi has the patience of a tracker and the focus of a painter waiting for the right color. He is gentle with animals, respectful toward practical people, and openly skeptical of grand speeches. He rarely raises his voice, because he has learned that calm words carry farther in a frightened camp.
Ideals
Protection. Skill has meaning only when it is used to keep someone else alive. No banner, commander, or ancient grievance is more important than the people standing behind me.
Bonds
I carry the names of the soldiers and woodland guides who vanished during the White March, and I will find out whether they died, deserted, or were deliberately abandoned.
Flaws
I distrust anyone who speaks confidently about a battle they did not witness. When frightened, I become controlling and would rather make a bad plan alone than admit I need help.
Quirks
Background
Mosi Oduro was born in a woodland settlement where elves, humans, and other travelers traded maps, medicines, and winter goods beneath an old line of silver-barked trees. His mother taught him to read weather in the shape of cloudbanks, while his father taught him that a trail was not merely a path, but a story written by weight, hunger, fear, and haste. Mosi learned to paint those stories before he learned to trust them. His small field sketches, made with charcoal and powdered blue stone, became maps of hidden streams, animal routes, and safe shelter beneath the snow.
