Appearance
Falco is a small but wiry halfling with sharp, angular features and skin the color of aged parchment. He keeps his jet black hair slicked back with heavy pomade. He wears dark, well fitted leather armor under a high collared cloak that hides a jagged scar across his throat. His eyes are dark and constantly scanning the room for exits or threats.
Mannerisms
He has a habit of tapping a rhythmic beat on his thigh when he is impatient, which sounds like the ticking of a clock.
Personality
I value efficiency and order above all else. Chaos is for amateurs and the dead. I speak in a low, monotone voice and I never use ten words when five will do. I treat my criminal profession like a legal clerk treats a court, with meticulous attention to detail and total lack of empathy for the casualties of the job.
Ideals
Hierarchy. Everyone has a place in the social order, and those at the top must have the discipline to stay there. Chaos is the enemy of profit.
Bonds
I am searching for the lieutenant who betrayed my previous organization, not for revenge, but because he broke his contract and that is an insult to the craft.
Flaws
I am completely indifferent to the suffering of others if it does not impact the mission or my personal safety.
Quirks
Background
Falco Hilltopple was born in the shadows of the trade metropolis docks, far from the rolling green hills typical of his kind. He learned early that the world was not governed by kings or gods, but by contracts and the strength required to enforce them. He spent his youth as a collection agent for the Hilltopple gang, where he discovered that being underestimated as a small halfling was his greatest asset. He didn't just break knees, he dismantled lives with surgical precision and a strict adherence to the gang's hierarchy. He earned the nickname 'The Viper' not just for his speed, but for his cold blooded reliability. When his local syndicate fell to a chaotic power struggle, Falco walked away from the flames, disgusted by the lack of discipline. He believes that the criminal underworld should function like a clock, where every gear knows its place. To him, Lawful Evil is not about being a monster, it is about recognizing that order is the most effective tool for personal gain. Now traveling as a specialist for hire, Falco looks for individuals who understand the value of a job well done. He follows the rules of those he works for until those rules no longer serve the bottom line or the stability of the system. He seeks to one day establish his own organization, one built on the foundations of absolute loyalty and a complete absence of mercy for those who fail to meet their quotas.
