Kavek is a towering goliath with skin the color of storm clouds and jagged, basalt-like tattoos tracing his shoulders. Despite his height, he is strangely thin and moves with a slow, deliberate caution. He wears a tattered military tunic over simple monk wraps, with his large knuckles perpetually calloused from striking training posts.

He is a man of few words who values efficiency and routine above all else. Having been a soldier who struggled with his own physical limits, he views every minor movement as a battle of will. He is humble to a fault, often apologizing for his own presence as if he is an obstacle to others.

Born with a frail constitution that made him the outlier of his mountain tribe, Kavek left the peaks to prove himself in the mercenary companies of the lowlands. He served for a decade in the Iron Peak Infantry, where he learned that discipline could compensate for a lack of raw power. However, after witnessing the senseless brutality of war and feeling his own strength fail during a crucial defensive, he sought a new path. He joined a monastic order dedicated to the harmony of mind over body. He now travels the world as a soldier-monk, testing his brittle limits and seeking a way to protect others without the need for the heavy iron he can no longer carry. He remains convinced that his weakness is a test from the ancestors that he has yet to pass.
