A brass and steel arm whirrs with precise clockwork, while her left leg is a piston-driven prosthetic. Where her natural heart should beat, a crystal housing emits a steady, rhythmic blue glow through her chest cavity. She wears a monocle over one eye and smells faintly of ozone and old parchment.

She is cold, meticulous, and intensely focused on the efficiency of any given task. Xanthos speaks in short, logical sentences and has little patience for emotional appeals. She views the world as a complex machine that is currently broken, believing that order can only be restored through careful reconstruction and the elimination of variables.

Xanthos was once a respected researcher traveling aboard a state of the art arcane skyship with her wife, Ryra. During a crossing of the Great Void, the vessel suffered a catastrophic containment failure. The ship tore apart in midair. Xanthos was thrown into the debris, watching as Ryra was swallowed by a rift of violet energy. She should have died, but she was recovered from the wreckage by a faceless entity who saw her potential. Her shattered body was integrated with experimental technology, saving her life but costing her her humanity. Since that day, Xanthos has renamed herself T-R1, designating herself as the first successful Trial Reconstruction. She uses her technical genius to calculate the precise coordinates of the rift that took Ryra. She treats the laws of the multiverse as mere blueprints to be rewritten until she finds her way back to the only person who ever mattered to her, regardless of who stands in her way.
