Appearance
Karyth is a monumental Tiefling with deep crimson skin and thick, jet-black horns that sweep back from her brow. She possesses a staggeringly tall and muscular frame with exceptionally large physical endowments, including both prominent breasts and male genitalia. She wears simple, travel-worn soldier's leathers and furs that emphasize her power rather than hiding it. Her most striking feature, aside from her build, is the massive obsidian-dark greatsword she carries across her back.
Mannerisms
She tends to take up as much space as possible when sitting down, crossing her massive arms and staring directly into people's eyes.
Personality
Stoic and observant, Karyth carries the discipline of a soldier into the wild fury of the barbarian. She speaks rarely, preferring the heavy weight of her presence to do the talking. She is fiercely protective of those she deems 'her people' and views the world through the lens of tactical necessity. Despite her intimidating size and infernal heritage, she possesses a dry, dark sense of humor that only emerges around a campfire.
Ideals
Discipline. Raw power is nothing without the will to focus it toward a goal.
Bonds
I carry the blade of my fallen captain, and I will see its name carved into the legends of Faerun.
Flaws
I am slow to trust and often assume people see me only as a monster, leading me to strike first.
Quirks
Background
Born in the slums of Baldur's Gate, Karyth was always too large and too 'other' for a normal life. She found her calling in a mercenary company known as the Crimson Shields, serving as a shock trooper. During a high-stakes campaign against a cult in the Western Heartlands, Karyth was the only survivor of an ambush. She claimed her commander's Vorpal Greatsword, an ancient blade of herculean weight that no one else could properly wield, and used it to cleave a path to freedom. Now, she wanders the Sword Coast as a soldier without a commander, seeking a cause worthy of her steel. Her unique physical nature has often made her a target of curiosity or fear, but she has learned to embrace her form as part of her martial identity. She sees her body as a temple of war, unapologetic and unyielding against any who would try to categorize or diminish her.
