Appearance

Crow Thorn is a striking tiefling with deep crimson skin and thick, jet black horns that curl backwards like those of a ram. He often wears flamboyant silks over his leather armor, decorated with bits of colorful moss and feathers. His eyes are solid gold, shimmering when he catches the light during a performance.

Mannerisms

He gestures broadly with his hands while speaking, and frequently clicks his tongue against the roof of his mouth to create a rhythmic beat.

Personality

Crow is loud, vibrant, and perpetually optimistic. He treats the entire world as his stage and nature as his most loyal audience. He has a habit of turning every conversation into a bit of theater, often using minor magic to add dramatic lighting or sound effects.

Ideals

Freedom. Everyone should be free to express their true self, no matter what blood runs through their veins or what laws the city tries to impose.

Bonds

I carry a shard of the mirror from the Midnight Masque's main stage. It reminds me of the family I left behind and my promise to make them famous.

Flaws

I am far too fond of being the center of attention. I often ignore potential dangers if it means I get to finish my performance or make a dramatic entrance.

Quirks

Always carries a pouch of dried flower petals to throw during dramatic exits.
Refers to his staff as his co-star.
He unconsciously hums whenever it rains.

Background

Crow was born into a travelling troupe known as the Midnight Masque. While others in his family utilized their infernal heritage for intimidation or stealth, Crow fell in love with the animals and the rhythm of the road. He learned to listen to the whispers of the wind and the soil while caring for the troupe's horses, discovering a latent connection to the natural world. This unconventional druidic path was paved with applause rather than meditation in silent groves. Eventually, the Masque reached the outskirts of Diamond Fern, a city of wealth and stone. Feeling that the city needed a taste of the wild more than the road did, Crow took his pan flute and his wooden staff and marched toward the city gates. He intends to start a new life, turning the urban cobblestones into a place where the wild spirits can dance.
