- Turn the Unholy
When Channel Divinity, available after gaining a Sacred Oath at level 3
As an action, Yorumi presents her holy symbol and speaks a prayer. Each celestial, fiend, or undead within 30 feet that can see or hear her must make a Wisdom saving throw or be turned for 1 minute or until it takes damage. A turned creature must spend its turns moving away from her and cannot willingly move to a space within 30 feet of her.
- Divine SenseLevel 2
As an action, Yorumi can open her awareness to detect strong good or evil until the end of her next turn. She knows the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within 60 feet that is not behind total cover, and she knows the type of any being whose presence she senses. She can use this feature a number of times equal to her Charisma modifier, regaining all uses after a long rest.
- Lay on HandsLevel 1
Her blessed touch can restore hit points from a pool totaling 10 hit points. As an action, she can touch a creature and draw power from the pool to restore any number of hit points remaining in it. Alternatively, she can expend 5 hit points from the pool to cure one disease or neutralize one poison. Undead and constructs are unaffected by this healing.

Appearance
Yorumi is a broad-shouldered goliath woman with slate-gray skin weathered by high winds, cold rain, and years of hauling timber through mountain passes. Pale blue-gray markings circle her forearms and gather in rounded bands around her wrists. She keeps her dark hair in a thick, low braid tied with a faded red wool cord. A small, heavily worn wooden bowl hangs from her belt, its rim polished smooth where her thumb repeatedly passes over it. She wears practical chain mail beneath a weather-stained cloak, carries a shield painted with a simple white mountain, and moves with a calm steadiness that makes her seem rooted even when standing in a crowd.
Mannerisms
She rests one broad hand over the worn wooden bowl at her belt whenever she is thinking. Before entering a tense conversation, she quietly names the people who will be affected by its outcome. When angry, she becomes more polite, not less.
Personality
Yorumi is patient, gently spoken, and attentive to practical needs. She notices who is cold, who has not eaten, and which pack strap is about to break. She dislikes boasting but enjoys dry humor, especially when someone mistakes her quietness for uncertainty. She is slow to trust grand promises and quick to trust repeated small acts of kindness.
Ideals
Shelter. Strength means little unless it is used to make room for someone weaker. No one should be turned away from a warm fire while I have the power to open the door.
Bonds
The people of her mountain settlement trusted her when fear made everyone else silent. She will return to protect them if they are threatened, and she sends a portion of every reward home to rebuild the granary.
Flaws
Yorumi has difficulty admitting when she is outmatched. She sometimes mistakes endurance for wisdom and stays in danger long after a retreat would better protect the people relying on her.
Quirks
Background
Yorumi was raised in a highland settlement where every household depended on every other. Her people measured worth by what one carried for the group, not by how loudly one boasted. She became known for guiding pack trains through sudden snowstorms and for lifting fallen beams during a landslide that trapped half the village granary. When the local reeve demanded harsh taxes after the disaster, Yorumi stood in the square and refused to move until the levy was withdrawn. The villagers followed her example, and the reeve left with nothing but a bruised reputation. That day taught Yorumi that courage was not a roar or a challenge. It was staying in place while frightened people found their feet. A traveling priest witnessed her stand and later offered her a place among the temple's wardens. Yorumi accepted, discovering that her strength could serve more than survival. She now travels as a newly sworn paladin, carrying the worn wooden bowl her mother used to serve stew to stranded travelers. She believes every hungry person deserves a seat, and every bully deserves to discover that some doors will not open for them.
