Always on
- SpellcastingLevel 1
Spellcasting: Charisma is Hristian's spellcasting ability. He knows sorcerer spells and can use an arcane focus or component pouch for material components.
- Divine MagicLevel 1
Divine Magic: Hristian learns additional magic from the cleric spell list. His Law affinity grants bless as an additional spell known; it does not count against his sorcerer spells known. He can replace this bonus spell with another cleric spell when he gains a sorcerer level.
- Favored by the GodsLevel 1
Favored by the Gods: When Hristian fails a saving throw or misses with an attack roll, he can roll 2d4 and add it to the result, potentially turning failure into success. Once used, this feature returns after a short or long rest.
- MetamagicLevel 3
Metamagic: Hristian knows two options: Subtle Spell, which casts a spell without verbal or somatic components, and Heightened Spell, which spends 3 sorcery points to impose disadvantage on one target's saving throw against a spell.
- Ability Score ImprovementLevel 4
Ability Score Improvement: Hristian gains an ability score improvement at this level. His final scores reflect a +2 Constitution and +1 Charisma Dampyr species adjustment, with no class ability score increase applied.

Appearance
Hristian is a lean, young Romanian man with vivid red hair, clear blue eyes, and small, unmistakable vampire fangs. His clothes are practical and well-worn, with a small cross tucked beneath his shirt and a weather-darkened Bible often visible in his coat. He shifts his weight off his right foot when it aches, but his more noticeable habit is pressing two fingers to the cross at his throat whenever he senses something unholy. He stands closer to people than most expect, as if trying to judge their warmth and breath.
Mannerisms
He presses two fingers to the cross at his throat when alert, holds himself too close to strangers while studying them, and changes his stance when the ache in his right foot rises. In conversation he quotes scripture from memory, sometimes with an unnecessary flourish.
Personality
Warm, bold, and quick to laugh, Hristian treats frightened villagers with patience and dangerous creatures with grim focus. He enjoys a crowded tavern, a strong drink, a fair brawl, and the company of women. His faith is sincere, but his confidence in his own divine purpose can make him stubborn and judgmental.
Ideals
Judgment should protect the innocent, not merely punish the guilty. If God gave him sight of the unholy, Hristian believes he must use it, even when mercy would be easier.
Bonds
His mother's memory is the measure by which he judges his own choices. He will risk almost anything to keep his little half-brother safe, though he refuses to explain their family connection. He is determined to find his vampire father and make him answer to divine judgment.
Flaws
Hristian confuses certainty with virtue. He can be needlessly contemptuous of faiths he does not understand, and his belief that his life is meant to condemn his father makes him reckless around vampires. He drinks too much after a successful hunt, starts brawls over insults, and is easily distracted by flirtation.

Background
Hristian Ciobanu was born in a hillside village to a mother who loved him fiercely and a father whose nature she would not name. He grew up with bright red hair, blue eyes, and little fangs that made neighbors whisper. His mother taught him his prayers and kept him close, while his strange birth left him with a keen, unwelcome sense for the dead and for beasts that were not quite beasts. A missing small bone in his right foot, a defect he has had since birth, brings an occasional sharp ache up his leg. He refuses to call it an omen, though he sometimes wonders whether the same curse marked both his body and his blood. When a string of night terrors and livestock deaths threatened his village, Hristian followed the signs into the hills and helped expose a predatory creature hiding behind local superstition. The villagers called him a hero. His own explanation was less comfortable: he believed God had given him power to recognize the unholy, and that his life was a judgment meant for his vampire father. He has since studied the lore of Solomonari and Volkhv, not always agreeing with its teachings, but finding Slavic traditions more tolerable than most other faiths. He hunts witches and undead with a Bible in his pack, drinks hard when a hunt is over, and is just as likely to settle an argument with his fists as with scripture. He misses his mother and keeps a careful, unexplained affection for his little half-brother, never saying which parent they share.
