Appearance
Thrumm stands at a natural eight feet tall, even for a bugbear. They have unusually long, gangly limbs covered in coarse, russet fur and a pair of eyes that glow with a faint, frost-blue light. Their armor is etched with glowing, ancient sigils. When they invoke their giant heritage, their muscles swell and their stature doubles, making them loom nearly twenty feet over the battlefield like a vengeful mountain spirit.
Mannerisms
Thrumm often reaches upward during conversation as if trying to grab a passing cloud. They tilt their head to the side when listening, creating a loud, rhythmic cracking sound in their neck.
Personality
Thrumm is a paradox of heavy steps and light words. They speak in a rumbling bass that vibrates floorboards, yet they possess a strange, airy curiosity about the world. They view physical height as a measure of spiritual proximity to the ancestors. They are quick to act and even quicker to run, valuing momentum over stationary defense. Despite their size, they often forget how much space they occupy.
Ideals
Growth. The world is meant to be seen from above, and one must never stop rising toward their fullest potential.
Bonds
I carry a shard of the first monolith I ever cleaned, it is the source of my strength and my connection to the earth.
Flaws
I am deeply claustrophobic. If I cannot see the sky, I feel as though the walls are crushing my spirit.

Background
Thrumm was born in the High Forest, raised by a small band of bugbears who lived in the shadow of a fallen stone giant fortress. While others spent their time hunting, Thrumm spent their youth cleaning the moss from the titanic carvings of the ruins. They felt a strange pull toward the jagged script of the Ordning, sensing that the blood of the ancients ran thin through their own veins. After years of meditation on the peak of a nameless mountain, the sky seemed to open, and the secret of the runes was etched into their mind. Thrumm realized that they were not meant to be small or hidden like other bugbears. They were meant to reach the clouds. Now, they wander the world as a 'Sky-Breacher', a self-appointed herald of the giant-kin. They seek to restore the ancient art of runecarving and prove that size is not just a matter of birth, but a matter of will. Every step they take is a challenge to the world to try and hold them down.
