Appearance
Felsenbrecher is a burly, pale-skinned dwarf with a short, clinical beard. His hands are heavily calloused and stained with faint traces of ink and old bruises. He wears dark, minimalist sage robes that allow for a full range of motion. His eyes are cold, grey, and constantly scanning for structural weaknesses.
Mannerisms
He taps his fingers in a steady, three-beat rhythm against his thigh, often matching the pulse of the person he is speaking to. He maintains a disturbing level of stillness when listening.
Personality
I view the world through a lens of biological efficiency. To me, a person is a complex series of joints, tendons, and pressure points. I find conversation tedious and prefer the quiet study of death to the chaotic vibrancy of life. My actions are always calculated for maximum effect with minimum effort.
Ideals
Power. Knowledge is only useful if it grants you the ability to dominate the physical world.
Bonds
I am obsessed with finding the legendary 'Scroll of the Last Breath' to complete my research.
Flaws
I am unable to feel empathy for others, seeing them only as biological machines to be studied or dismantled.

Background
Born in a library rather than a forge, Felsenbrecher spent his youth obsessed with the medical texts of the Iron Mountain archives. He was eventually exiled for conducting forbidden anatomical research on his deceased kin to find the precise moment a soul departs the flesh. He sought out the Monastery of the Ebon Cloud to learn how to manipulate the life force he had spent so long studying. He did not seek enlightenment, he sought mastery over the physical termination of life. Now he serves his own dark curiosity, traveling the world to test his shadow-touched techniques on more varied specimens. He believes that by mastering the shadow, he can eventually conquer the boundary of death itself.
