Appearance
Zephyrin is a striking man with faint sky blue skin and silver white hair that constantly drifts as if caught in an unseen updraft. His eyes are the color of a twilight sky, sparkling with an inner light. He is dressed in an absurdly flamboyant set of fine silk robes, featuring exaggerated ruffs and golden embroidery that depicts the phases of the moon. He carries a large sapphire gem as his focus, within which a miniature cluster of stars seems to pulse in time with his heartbeat.
Mannerisms
He performs elaborate, sweeping gestures for even the simplest tasks, such as pointing at a menu or opening a door.
Personality
Whimsical, talkative, and relentlessly optimistic, Zephyrin treats the world like a grand performance that he is both the lead actor and the director of. He is remarkably polite to a fault, even when insulting someone's fashion choices. He has a habit of speaking to the stars as if they were old friends and possesses an unshakeable confidence that everything will turn out perfectly provided he looks good doing it.
Ideals
Aesthetic. Beauty is the ultimate truth of the universe. If a spell or an action isn't beautiful, it isn't worth doing.
Bonds
The Star-Gem is my soul and my heritage. If it were lost, I would be little more than a whisper in the wind.
Flaws
I am deeply vain and often prioritize my personal grooming and the preservation of my robes over the immediate safety of my companions.
Quirks
Background
Zephyrin was born from the fleeting union of a high-society duchess and a traveler from the Elemental Plane of Air. While his heritage granted him a natural affinity for the ethereal, it also made him a social curiosity. Raised in the gilded halls of Al-Sahar, he grew bored of tea parties and petty politics. He craved the infinite expanse of the heavens he saw in his father's eyes. On his twenty first birthday, he stole the family's most precious relic, the Star-Gem, and set out to master the arcane arts. He does not wish to be a god, despite his grand appearance. He simply believes that the world beneath the stars is too beautiful to be explored in drab clothing or through mundane means. He currently wanders the roads at night, convinced that the constellations are guiding him toward a destiny involving a very large, very magical, and very well-decorated palace.
