Appearance
Lazya is a hulking orc woman who dominates any room she enters, standing 6'5" with a barrel-chest frame packed with corded muscle. Her skin is a deep olive green, weathered by hardship and crisscrossed with old white scars, including a web of scar tissue across her bald scalp. Heavy brow ridges shadow deep-set amber eyes, and her pronounced tusks curve upward past her upper lip, sharpened to points. Large pointed ears, set with thick iron rings, frame a face built for endurance and violence. She moves with deliberate, grounded grace, dressed in faded gray work pants, steel-toed boots, a sleeveless black undershirt, and a battered open leather vest marked by bloodstains and tool wear.
Mannerisms
She speaks in short, blunt sentences and often lets silence do the rest. When she is deciding whether someone is worth her time, she rolls her shoulders, cracks her knuckles, and watches their hands more than their face.
Personality
Lazya is blunt, steady, and unnervingly calm until the moment violence becomes necessary. She respects competence, keeps her promises, and has little patience for boasting, manipulation, or anyone who hides behind status. Her kindness is real, but it is practical, expressed through guarding a camp, carrying burdens, and standing in front of danger without being asked.
Ideals
Strength should protect, not only conquer. The strong owe the weak their vigilance, and no law deserves obedience if it is built to grind people into the dirt.
Bonds
She still searches for surviving members of her clan, and for proof of what became of those taken by the Spire. Every debt she owes is measured in deeds, not words.
Flaws
Lazya assumes every problem can be solved by force, and she often acts before she has listened long enough to understand the real danger. She struggles to trust people who rely on clever words, and she can become cruelly dismissive of hesitation, diplomacy, or mercy that looks like weakness.
Quirks
Background
Lazya was born under a hard sky on the wind-scoured plains east of the city walls, where her clan measured worth by what could be carried, killed, or endured. She grew fast and stronger than the others, learning to hunt with bare hands, wrestle wolves from fresh kills, and take a beating without giving an inch. The clan taught her that survival was not a philosophy, but a muscle, something sharpened through use. By the time she was old enough to lead a hunt, she was already the one others followed, whether they liked it or not. Then the city came. A Spire-sanctioned land grab turned sacred grazing ground into property, and her clan was scattered by steel, law, and numbers that mattered more to the powerful than blood ever had. Some were killed, some imprisoned, and some vanished into labor camps and alleys. Lazya learned the common tongue while working rough jobs, taking fights where she found them and answering injustice the only way she trusted, directly. Now she travels with the stubborn silence of a survivor and the instincts of a born tracker, carrying her people in her scars, her fists, and the refusal to kneel.
“The clan taught her that survival was not a philosophy, but a muscle, something sharpened through use.”
