Appearance
Silas is a man who looks older than his forty two years. His salt and pepper hair is kept short, and his face is perpetually shadowed by a چند-day stubble. He wears dark, soot stained leather armor and a cloak that has seen better days. His most striking feature is a faint, glowing brand on his left wrist that pulses with a dull orange light whenever he calls upon his patron's power.
Mannerisms
Silas constantly adjusts his left sleeve to ensure his brand is hidden. He has a habit of speaking to his pact weapon as if it were a pet he dislikes.
Personality
Silas is weary and pragmatic, possessing the dry wit of a man who has already seen his worst days. He is surprisingly polite for a criminal, often using soft words and careful logic before resorting to violence. He is deeply cynical about religion and higher powers, viewing every god and demon as just another landlord looking to collect rent.
Ideals
Self Sovereignty. No being, mortal or immortal, should own the soul of another. I will reclaim mine or die trying.
Bonds
I carry a ledger of every life I have taken in my patron's name. I intend to one day seek out their families and make amends.
Flaws
I am terrified of the dark, as I can hear the Baron's whispers most clearly when it is silent.
Quirks
Background
Silas was once a respected accountant for a shipping guild that was secretly a front for a criminal syndicate. When a job went sideways and the City Watch closed in, Silas panicked and made a desperate plea to the darkness. An archdevil known as Baron Moloch answered, offering him the power to walk out of the dungeon in exchange for his service. Silas took the deal, and since that night, a blade of hellfire has been his constant companion. Over the years, Silas has grown tired of being the Baron's debt collector. He has seen the ruin he brings to others and the slow rot in his own soul. He now travels under the guise of a wandering mercenary, constantly searching for forbidden knowledge or ancient artifacts that might contain a loophole in his contract. He does good deeds in the hope of balancing his spiritual ledger, even if he fears the debt is far too high to ever be settled.
