- Action SurgeLevel 2
Aurelia can take one additional action on her turn. She can use this feature once per short or long rest, but not on the same turn as her Second Wind if the Dungeon Master enforces the 2014 action economy restriction on multiple features.

Aurelia gains proficiency in Persuasion. If she already had this proficiency, she could instead choose History, Insight, or Performance.
- Extra AttackLevel 5

- Sunlight SensitivityDrowAurelia has disadvantage on attack rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when she, her target, or whatever she is trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.

Appearance
Aurelia is a tall, athletic drow woman with deep obsidian skin, silver-white hair braided tightly against her scalp, and vivid violet eyes that rarely blink. A thin scar crosses her lower lip, the result of a failed initiation ritual. She wears chain mail beneath layered crimson, indigo, and spider-white robes, with a lacquered shield marked by a stylized black widow. Her curved scimitar is worn at the hip in surface-world fashion, while a dagger rests inside her sleeve and several poisoned needles are concealed beneath her armor.
Mannerisms
Aurelia speaks softly and precisely, even while issuing threats. She pauses before answering difficult questions, as if waiting for an unseen spider to pull a strand. When entering a room, she studies the ceiling before looking at the people in it. She never sits with her back to an open space.
Personality
Controlled, watchful, and intensely devout, Aurelia treats every conversation as a contest of concealed motives. She respects courage, but only when it is sharpened by cunning. Her version of Bushido prizes discipline, loyalty to Lolth, and composure under pain, while openly rejecting fairness, mercy, and honorable combat.
Ideals
Devotion. A life has value only as an instrument of Lolth's will. Treachery is not dishonor when it serves the Spider Queen, and fairness is merely a weakness invented by prey.
Bonds
Lolth is the only sovereign Aurelia recognizes. She carries a fragment of the black altar where she received her venomous blessing, and she will destroy anyone who claims to speak for the Spider Queen without proving it through danger, sacrifice, or betrayal.
Flaws
Aurelia cannot tolerate kindness that is freely offered. She assumes every mercy conceals a hook, and when no betrayal is apparent, she becomes determined to create one. She is also dangerously certain that every victory, no matter how small, is a deliberate sign from Lolth.
Quirks
Background
Aurelia Malys was born beneath the rule of a house that considered devotion to Lolth a ladder, not a love. She entered the priesthood young, memorizing venom rites, sacrificial hymns, and the sacred patterns of spider webs. She expected to rise through obedience and cruelty, but Lolth had no interest in rewarding expectation. During a midnight vigil, a living mass of spiders descended upon Aurelia and covered her in venom. She survived, scarred and feverish, and interpreted survival as a command. The priestesses called her chosen, then feared her, because the spiders had left no house sigil upon her flesh.
“She entered the priesthood young, memorizing venom rites, sacrificial hymns, and the sacred patterns of spider webs.”
