Appearance
Eleanor is a stunning tiefling with vibrant red-tinged skin and a silhouette reminiscent of a legendary soul singer. She sports a voluminous, perfectly styled bouncy blowout of wavy black hair and possesses striking amber eyes that glow with divine intensity. She wears polished silver plate armor adorned with the iconography of Torm, looking every bit the divine protector even while maintaining her glamorous aesthetic.
Mannerisms
Eleanor speaks with the rhythmic, soulful cadence of a gospel singer. She often punctuates her sentences with a warm wink or a gentle touch on the shoulder.
Personality
Radiant, dramatic, and intensely kind. Eleanor carries the showmanship of her family's revival tent into the field of battle. She believes that the light of Torm is best reflected through a warm smile and a sharp blade. She is unflinchingly polite to everyone, treating peasants and kings with the same theatrical reverence.
Ideals
Charity. I am a vessel for the divine light, meant to be shared with those who have nothing. Appearance matters because it represents the dignity of the faith.
Bonds
My family is still out there on the road, and every letter I send home contains half of my earnings to keep their ministry alive.
Flaws
I am incredibly vain about my hair and armor. If a monster manages to dent my plate or ruin my blowout, I tend to lose my composure and focus more on my appearance than the tactical situation.
Quirks
Background
Eleanor was born into the Rube family, a line of fire and brimstone traveling preachers who toured the coast in a brightly painted wagon. While her siblings were content to sing and solicit donations, Eleanor found herself truly moved by the scriptures of Torm. She viewed her tiefling heritage not as a curse, but as a forge, her red skin signifying the heat of a righteous heart. Her childhood was spent balancing choir rehearsals with rigorous martial training, as she felt the call to protect the flocks her father preached to. To her, faith is a performance that requires the strongest armor. She eventually left the family caravan to seek out real darkness, carrying her polished shield and her mother's penchant for high fashion into the most dangerous corners of the world. She believes that if she can stand tall and remain beautiful in the face of evil, then the light of Torm can never be truly extinguished.
