Appearance
Sethri is a bronze-scaled dragonborn with a long, narrow muzzle, swept-back horns, and a compact, sturdy build. Salt wind and years working wet docks have left his scales matte and pale along the shoulders, with darker green-bronze tones beneath his jaw. His voice is low and breathy, with a dry hiss on s sounds. When rattled, his breath catches, then comes out in a thin crackle of static.
Mannerisms
He listens with his head tilted slightly, as if weighing every voice against the rhythm of harbor work. Before answering a difficult question, he lets out one quiet breath through his nose.
Personality
Dryly courteous and observant, Sethri prefers to let other people fill silences. He is patient with nervous strangers and impatient with anyone who mistakes politeness for trust.
Ideals
Independence. No one should be owned by a debt they did not choose, and no promise should be extracted at knife-point.
Bonds
He keeps a small bronze tally token from his family’s old trading stall, and means to buy back the stall’s lease before the counting house sells it for good.
Flaws
He assumes every kindness hides a bargain, and will sometimes risk a good plan just to avoid owing anyone a favor.
Quirks
Background
Sethri learned the harbors by sound: chain links lifting, cargo seals snapping, a watchman’s boots slowing near a warehouse door. His family had traded along the coast for generations, but after a bad season left them owing money to a counting house, Sethri took work carrying discreet packages through the docks. He was good at slipping through crowds, less good at pretending the work was honest.
