Appearance
Despite his halfling heritage, Silas stands at an impossible 6 feet tall, the result of a divine ritual that painfully elongated his frame. He is perpetually shrouded in a tattered, dark grey hooded cloak. A metallic face mask conceals all his features except for two piercing, white glowing eyes that burn with a cold, celestial light.
Mannerisms
Silas remains perfectly still for long periods, resembling a statue, before moving with sudden, jerky, and terrifying speed.
Personality
Silas is a man of few words and absolute focus. He speaks in a low, raspy whisper that carries the weight of a veteran who has seen too much blood. He treats every encounter with a calculated coldness, viewing the world not through the lens of good or evil, but through the necessity of the hunt. He values efficiency above all else, often ignoring social niceties to finish a task.
Ideals
Balance. The light and the dark are natural, but when the dark grows too large, it must be trimmed by a steady hand.
Bonds
I am the last legacy of my destroyed temple, and I carry their holy light in my eyes to illuminate the shadows.
Flaws
My physical transformation has made me an outcast, and I find it impossible to relate to the emotions or concerns of ordinary people.

Background
Silas was born to a modest halfling family in the quiet woods, but his life changed when the temple of a forgotten solar deity was raided by a lich. Chosen to survive, he was subjected to a 'Celestial Ascension' ritual that physically warped him, stretching his halfling skeleton into the height of a man to better serve as a vessel for holy vengeance. The process left him physically powerful but spiritually detached from his own kind, a freakish giant who no longer fit in his own home. He spent years as a mercenary soldier, learning the art of the black powder before the divine spark in his eyes guided him toward a higher calling. Now, he traverses the world as a grim hunter. He uses the very holy power that changed him to empower his twin pistols, seeking out the monsters that thrive in the dark. He is a soldier of the balance, a holy executioner who exists on the fringes of society, protecting a world that he no longer truly belongs to.
