Features
17 featuresAction
- Turn the UnholyLevel 3
When When fiends or undead threaten nearby innocents.
As an action, present your holy symbol and speak a prayer. Fiends and undead within 30 feet that can see or hear you must make a Wisdom saving throw or be turned for 1 minute, until they take damage, or until someone ends the effect.
- Sacred WeaponLevel 3
When Before confronting a dangerous foe or supernatural enemy.
As an action, imbue one weapon you are holding with positive energy for 1 minute. You add your Charisma modifier to attack rolls with it, and it becomes magical if it was not already.
- Divine SenseLevel 1
You can detect the presence of strong evil or good nearby. As an action, you can open your awareness to know the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within 60 feet, and identify the type of any consecrated or desecrated place or object within the same distance. You can use this feature a number of times equal to 1 plus your Charisma modifier, regaining all uses after a long rest.
Always on
- Divine SmiteLevel 2
When After hitting a creature with a melee weapon attack.
When you hit with a melee weapon attack, expend a spell slot to deal 2d8 radiant damage with a 1st-level slot, plus 1d8 per slot level above 1st, with an extra 1d8 against undead or fiends.
- Lay on HandsLevel 1
When When touching an injured, diseased, or poisoned creature.
Restore hit points from a pool totaling 15 hit points per long rest, or spend 5 points to cure one disease or neutralize one poison.
- Fighting Style, DuelingLevel 2
You adopt a style of fighting as your specialty. You gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls made with a melee weapon wielded in one hand.
- SpellcastingLevel 2
You have learned to draw on divine magic through meditation and prayer. You prepare two paladin spells from the paladin spell list. You can use a holy symbol as a spellcasting focus.
- Divine HealthLevel 3
The divine magic flowing through you makes you immune to disease.
- Sacred Oath, Oath of DevotionLevel 3
You swear an oath that binds you as a paladin forever. You gain the Oath of Devotion oath spells, Channel Divinity options, and other features of the oath.
- Oath SpellsLevel 3
You gain the following oath spells, which are always prepared and do not count against the number of spells you can prepare: protection from evil and good, and sanctuary.
- Channel DivinityLevel 3
You can use Channel Divinity once between rests. When you use your Channel Divinity, you choose which option to use. You regain the ability to do so after a short or long rest.
- DarkvisionElfYou can see in dim light within 60 feet as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You cannot discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
- Keen SensesElfYou have proficiency in the Perception skill.
- Fey AncestryElfYou have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic cannot put you to sleep.
- TranceElfYou do not need to sleep. Instead, you meditate deeply for 4 hours a day, gaining the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
- Elf Weapon TrainingElfYou are proficient with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.
- Shelter of the FaithfulAcolyte
You can invoke the assistance of your temple, shrine, or religious community. Fellow worshipers will provide basic support, such as food, shelter, and aid, though they will not risk their lives for you.

Appearance
A tall, athletic elf with warm bronze skin, long dark-gold hair usually tied with a plain leather cord, and clear gray-green eyes. Her chain mail is carefully maintained but visibly altered with small leather ties and hand-sewn repairs at the shoulders. She wears one immaculate ivory prayer sash over otherwise practical, weather-softened clothing. A small bronze sun-disk hangs at her throat, polished bright except where its lower edge has been worn smooth by years of nervous thumb-rubbing. Her bearing is composed and attentive, though her clothes fit slightly poorly, as if inherited from several different people.
Mannerisms
Aysun touches the worn lower edge of her sun-disk whenever she makes a promise. She listens without interrupting, then repeats the speaker's name before answering. When angry, she becomes more formal and begins reciting the relevant passage from her prayer book in a very calm voice.
Personality
Patient with the frightened, exacting with the dishonest, and quietly warm toward anyone who works with their hands. Aysun prefers practical kindness to dramatic heroics, but once she gives her word, she becomes nearly impossible to divert.
Ideals
Mercy is a discipline, not a feeling. The strong are entrusted with power so that the powerless can survive long enough to become strong themselves.
Bonds
The shrine that raised me is rebuilding after the raid. Every journey I undertake must bring back something useful, whether coin, knowledge, a rescued pilgrim, or a reason to hope.
Flaws
I treat hesitation as a moral failure, even when patience would be wiser. I also remember every slight against the helpless and find it difficult to forgive anyone who calls cruelty practical.

Background
Aysun Telmara was raised among the candle courts of a remote elven shrine where the priests preserved oral histories, tended travelers, and mediated disputes between woodland clans. Her mother served as a keeper of sacred genealogies, while her father repaired the shrine's gates and bells. Aysun learned early that devotion was less about grand visions than about showing up every day, remembering the names of the hungry, and keeping a promise after the person who made it had been forgotten. When raiders burned an outlying village, Aysun found the shrine's young acolytes sheltering beneath the collapsed bell tower. She carried them out one by one, then returned for the temple's bronze sun-disk, not because it was valuable, but because the frightened children would need to see that something holy had survived. The experience changed her prayer into a vow. She trained as a paladin to place her body between the vulnerable and those who would exploit them, and she travels now as both protector and witness. She records every name, broken promise, and act of unexpected mercy in the margins of her prayer book.
“Her mother served as a keeper of sacred genealogies, while her father repaired the shrine's gates and bells.”
