Sheshash bites a creature within 5 feet, dealing 1d6 + 1 piercing damage on a hit.
- SpellcastingLevel 1
Sheshash is a 1st-level spellcaster. Charisma is his spellcasting ability for sorcerer spells. He knows four cantrips and two 1st-level sorcerer spells, and he has two 1st-level spell slots.
- Wild Magic SurgeLevel 1
Sheshash's magic comes from a chaotic primal force awakened in the deep marsh. Once per long rest, immediately after casting a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher, the DM can require him to roll a d20. On a 1, he rolls on the Wild Magic Surge table. The DM can also call for a surge after any sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher.
- Tides of ChaosLevel 1
After making an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, Sheshash can gain advantage on that roll. Once he does so, he cannot use this feature again until he finishes a long rest, unless the DM allows a Wild Magic Surge, after which he regains its use.

- BiteLizardfolkSheshash's fanged maw is a natural weapon that deals 1d6 piercing damage.
- Cunning ArtisanLizardfolkDuring a short rest, Sheshash can harvest bone and hide from a slain beast, dragon, construct, or plant to create a shield, club, javelin, or 1d4 darts or blowgun needles.

Appearance
Sheshash is a lean, broad-shouldered lizardfolk with pale sage-green scales patterned by rust-colored bands along his jaw, neck, and forearms. His amber eyes have narrow vertical pupils, and a ragged crest runs from his brow to the base of his skull. He wears a weathered hermit's mantle woven from reeds and wool, decorated with small bones, dried herbs, and copper charms. His hands are stained with ink, ash, and medicinal dyes.
Mannerisms
He tilts his head sharply when listening, tastes the air before entering unfamiliar places, and pauses for several seconds before answering questions. He speaks in short, careful phrases, often describing emotions as changes in temperature or scent.
Personality
Sheshash is observant, patient, and quietly compassionate. He prefers facts to speculation, but he is fascinated by mysteries that cannot be measured. He treats every living creature as an ecosystem of needs, habits, and wounds. Though reserved around strangers, he becomes unexpectedly protective when someone is hungry, injured, or being bullied.
Ideals
Mercy. Life is difficult enough without adding needless suffering. Power should be used to shelter the vulnerable, even when compassion is inconvenient.
Bonds
The poisoned marsh where his clutch still lives is his responsibility. He carries a small clay vial of clean marsh water and will risk much to restore the wetlands.
Flaws
Sheshash distrusts sudden kindness and assumes that every offer carries a hidden cost. When frightened, he may respond with dangerous magic before considering the consequences.
Quirks
Background
Sheshash was born among a marsh-dwelling clutch that measured wisdom in practical things, the strength of a shelter, the purity of water, and the patience to wait for prey. As a young hunter, he showed little interest in trophies or dominance. Instead, he collected plants, studied bones, and listened to the strange humming that rose from the black pools after storms. The elders considered his fascination harmless until the day he accidentally called down a burst of violet fire that scorched a ring of reeds but harmed no living creature. Fearing that his unstable power would endanger the clutch, Sheshash withdrew to an abandoned watch hut in the high wetland hills. There he lived as a hermit, tending injured travelers, cataloguing medicinal plants, and recording the patterns of his magic. His greatest discovery was that the power within him responds to strong emotions and hidden life beneath the earth, as though an ancient force is trying to speak through his blood. When raiders poisoned the marsh, Sheshash left his solitude to seek the source of the corruption and to protect those who cannot defend themselves. He does not fully understand civilization, but he understands suffering, and he has decided that knowledge is only valuable when it is used to preserve life.
