Appearance
Elowynn is a tall, powerfully built wood elf woman with warm brown skin, long dark auburn hair braided with feathers and tiny carved bone charms, and bright green eyes flecked with gold. Her movements are quiet and deliberate, but there is a restrained physical strength in her broad shoulders and calloused hands. She wears weathered leather armor beneath a moss-green cloak, with a polished wooden staff and a curved scimitar at her side. Her face is calm and watchful, though grief and distrust have left faint tension around her eyes.
Mannerisms
Elowynn pauses before answering questions, as if listening to the wind for a second opinion. She rarely sits with her back to a door, keeps one hand near her staff when strangers approach, and speaks more freely to animals than to people.
Personality
Quiet, observant, and physically capable, Elowynn prefers to communicate through practical aid rather than conversation. She is patient with animals, children, and anyone who shows respect for the land. Around strangers she is guarded and economical with her words, but once someone earns her trust, her loyalty becomes fierce and enduring.
Ideals
Protection. The strong exist to shield the vulnerable, and the wild must be defended from those who would turn every sacred place into property or profit.
Bonds
The hidden forest and the women who raised her are her family. She will risk everything to protect their sanctuary, recover anything stolen from it, and ensure that the traitor who betrayed them can never endanger them again.
Flaws
She assumes that kindness from outsiders conceals a price, and she can become cold, accusatory, or needlessly secretive when someone asks about her past or homeland.

Background
Elowynn was raised beneath the ancient boughs of a forest that did not appear on any ordinary map. Her people lived in a hidden woodland sanctuary shared with mythical beasts, fey-touched spirits, and creatures that remembered the first songs of the trees. The tribe was governed and protected by a circle of formidable women, and from them Elowynn learned that strength was not measured by how often it was displayed. She trained with spear, staff, and scimitar, then studied the old rites of the warrior-shamans, learning to read animal tracks as easily as spoken words and to treat the wounded with herbs, resin, and prayer. For many years, Elowynn believed the world beyond the forest might hold people worthy of trust. She fell in love with a wandering man who spoke of wonder rather than conquest, and she revealed to him the hidden paths and signs that protected her people's home. He betrayed her, selling the coordinates to thieves in exchange for gold and gems. Elowynn returned in time to help drive the intruders away, but the sanctuary was scarred, sacred creatures were slain, and the trust between her and her people was broken. She withdrew into a hermit's life, seeking counsel from wolves, ravens, and the ancient trees. Now she travels once more as a druid, protecting wild places and the vulnerable, while keeping nearly every outsider at a careful distance.
