Appearance
Abigail stands four feet tall with a sturdy, muscular build typical of her kind. Her skin is the color of toasted grain, and her eyes are a vibrant, warm amber. Most notable is her hair, a thick mane of golden-blonde braids adorned with small copper rings. She wears gleaming chain mail over crimson tunics and carries a shield emblazoned with a rising sun.
Mannerisms
Abigail frequently brushes stray golden hairs from her face and tends to hum low, rhythmic dwarven work songs whenever she is casting a healing spell.
Personality
Abigail is a joyous soul who believes that life is the greatest gift of the gods. She is quick to laugh, quicker to offer a helping hand, and possesses a booming voice that carries across any tavern. She dislikes rigid hierarchies and believes that true faith is found in the dirt and the streets, not just behind temple walls.
Ideals
Charity. I always try to help those in need, regardless of what the law says about it. Kindness is the only true law.
Bonds
I carry a golden medallion from my childhood temple. It reminds me of the home I left and the people I still hope to protect from afar.
Flaws
I am far too trusting of those who claim to be in pain, and my hatred for authority often gets me into trouble with local guards.

Background
Abigail was born into the Goldaxe clan, a lineage famous for its stern traditionalists and master smiths. While her kin found peace in the rhythm of the hammer and the cold silence of the deep mines, Abigail felt a restless warmth in her chest. She spent her youth tending to the clan's elderly and injured, discovering a natural talent for healing that the local priests called a divine spark. However, the stifling laws of her mountain home's temple drove her to frustration. She could not understand why she had to wait for permission from a council to save a dying wanderer. One evening, after a heated argument with the High Priest, Abigail packed her mace and her prayer book, took a name for herself based on the light she followed, and stepped out of the mountain. She spent her first few years on the road as an acolyte in various traveling caravans, learning that the world was wide and filled with people in need of both a healer's touch and a warrior's protection. She now seeks to spread the light of her deity wherever it is darkest, following no laws but those of compassion and the pursuit of the greater good.
