Appearance
Dara is a tall, lean wood elf with sun-kissed bronze skin, long honey-blonde hair, and keen green eyes flecked with gold. Her pointed ears are decorated with small brass prayer rings, and she wears polished chain mail beneath ivory and saffron vestments. A round wooden shield bears the symbol of her temple, while her mace is wrapped at the grip with faded blue prayer cords.
Mannerisms
Dara straightens crooked objects without noticing, taps two fingers against her holy symbol when considering a difficult decision, and addresses strangers by their full names whenever possible. She pauses before answering questions, as though consulting an invisible ledger.
Personality
Dara is precise, patient, and quietly observant. She prefers clear agreements to vague promises and believes every problem has a proper procedure, even if finding that procedure takes time. Beneath her formal manner is a sincere tenderness for the sick, the frightened, and anyone overlooked by more powerful people.
Ideals
Order. A just structure protects the vulnerable, and every rule should be strong enough to be examined in the light of truth.
Bonds
The sanctuary that raised Dara is threatened by political intrigue and dwindling faith. She will return to defend it, even if doing so means confronting the elders who exiled her.
Flaws
Dara obeys written law even when compassion would be faster, and she is deeply suspicious of anyone who asks her to make an exception. She can become cold and judgmental toward those who act from emotion without considering consequences.

Background
Dara Goldbreeze was raised among the amber groves surrounding an ancient elven sanctuary where priests tended both the wounded and the laws that governed the forest communities. Her mother served as a keeper of sacred records, while her father maintained the shrine roads and taught Dara that mercy without order could become favoritism, and order without mercy could become cruelty. Dara embraced both lessons with equal seriousness, spending decades as an acolyte copying decrees, memorizing rites, and assisting in the temple infirmary. Her faith was tested when a winter blight struck several villages. The temple elders argued over which settlements had fulfilled their obligations and therefore deserved aid first. Dara secretly opened the sealed granaries and organized relief according to need rather than status. The action saved lives, but it also exposed corruption among the senior clergy. Rather than flee punishment, Dara confessed and accepted exile from the sanctuary, believing that laws must be strong enough to survive honest scrutiny. Now she travels as a cleric of the Life Domain, seeking evidence of injustice, protecting those abandoned by institutions, and learning whether the divine order she serves is truly worthy of obedience.
