His head is completely bald, emphasizing his sharp brow and piercing, moss-green eyes. Despite his size, he often carries himself with a slight slouch, a remnant of years spent trying to hide in the crowded alleys of Waterdeep. He wears the uniform of a Spelljammer Academy cadet, adjusted to fit his massive frame, with a simple leather pouch at his belt containing mementos from his past life.

Torok is a quiet and observant individual who is far more sensitive than his hulking frame suggests. He is deeply humble, having lived most of his life as an outcast and a 'runt'. Because he was treated with cruelty by his own family, he reacts to kindness with intense, unwavering loyalty. Torok survived the trek to Waterdeep, where his size made him an easy target for suspicion but a useful tool for crime. He joined a street gang at fourteen, though he never shared their cruel streak, stealing only to keep his stomach from cramping. He was a creature of shadow and necessity, always feeling like an outsider among the thieves who enjoyed the life he hated. Everything changed on a rainy night in a Waterdeep alley when he overheard talk of the Spelljammer Academy. To Torok, it sounded like a fairy tale. A place where the sky met the stars and where anyone could be reborn. He spent every copper he had saved, and some he had stolen, to secure passage and entrance. Upon arrival, the 'runt' of the mountains found himself the largest soul in the room. It was there he met Veena, an Astral Elf who looked past his rough exterior and saw the strength he had spent a lifetime tempering. Joining the Star Lancers gave him his first real home. For the first time, Torok Mite Stonegarden is not looking at the dirt for scraps, but at the stars for a future.
