Action

  • Divine SenseLevel 1

As an action, until the end of St’eeev’s next turn he knows the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within 60 feet that is not behind total cover, and he knows the type of each being detected. Within the same radius he also detects the presence of any place or object that has been consecrated or desecrated, as with the hallow spell. With Charisma 13, St’eeev can use this feature 2 times between long rests.

  • Lay on HandsLevel 1

St’eeev has a healing pool of 5 hit points. As an action, he can touch a creature and draw from the pool to restore any number of hit points up to the amount remaining. Alternatively, he can spend 5 points from the pool to cure one disease or neutralize one poison affecting the target. The feature has no effect on undead or constructs. The pool refreshes after a long rest.

  • Breath WeaponDragonbornas an action, exhale lightning in a 5-by-30-foot line. Creatures in the line make a DC 11 Dexterity saving throw; a creature takes 2d6 lightning damage on a failed save or half as much on a success. This use refreshes after a short or long rest.

Appearance

Blue dragonborn, age 30, 6 ft 7 in, 360 lb, blue eyes, blue skin/scales, dark-blue spines.

Background

St’eeev is Connor's blue dragonborn paladin and Knight. He is age 30, 6 feet 7 inches tall, 360 pounds, with blue eyes, blue scales, dark-blue spines, and Strength 20. St’eeev comes from Vek'raash, a tiny Trothlorsvek dragonborn community in Q'barra made up mostly of blue dragonborn. Vek'raash values duty, watchfulness, household responsibility, old draconic stories, and inherited promises. At age 30, each member completes an old rite into full adult community responsibility. The initiate journeys alone to Thousand-Thunder Peak, a nearby mountain famous for violent storms, thunder, and lightning, then returns for the final ceremony: wearing the ancient helmet that holds the Sky Scale. During St’eeev's journey, lightning struck him multiple times and he survived. When he returned and wore the helmet, the Sky Scale awakened for the first time in the remembered history of the rite. Vek'raash tradition says Vvaraak gave the Sky Scale to their ancestors thousands of years ago. Vvaraak later traveled across Khorvaire and taught druid magic to the first Gatekeeper druids. The old promise says that when Eberron again faces a great danger and Vvaraak is gone, the Sky Scale will awaken for one of their own. That bearer will take up the mantle of protecting Eberron and seek the other two mythic scale artifacts. The Sky Scale is supposedly a scale of Siberys. The Earth Scale is supposedly a scale of Eberron. The Scale of the Deep is supposedly a scale of Khyber. Their literal origin, the powers of the Earth Scale and Scale of the Deep, their locations, the coming danger, and the full purpose of bringing the three together remain Open. The Earth Scale and Scale of the Deep have no CharGen generations yet. While St’eeev wears the Sky Scale, music can carry fragments of the Draconic Prophecy to him as symbols, names, relationships, places, or a next step. His simple current motivation is to find powerful artifacts, especially the Earth Scale and the Scale of the Deep. The prophetic trail led him out of Q'barra to Leus and to the phrase 'Hall of Turning Stars.' St’eeev knows the name and that it is tied to Leus, while the Hall's nature remains outside his current knowledge. He travels with Leus and protects her as the trail develops. At Owl's Perch, St’eeev and Leus met Greensinger Garnet Hails and Willow Nightshade. The four now travel through the Riverwood. Player-facing portal material ends shortly before Ryan's first live scene.
