Appearance
Shojuro possesses the unnatural stillness of the Reborn. His skin is the color of frost on a tombstone, and faint, silver-stitched scars trace across his neck where the ritual of his revival took place. He wears heavy chain mail layered with grey wolf furs. His eyes carry a faint white luminescence, similar to a dying ember. He moves with a calculated, robotic grace that betrays his lack of mortal fatigue.
Mannerisms
He uses Common Sign Language for most interactions, reserving his voice for prayers and Abyssal incantations. He touches his holy symbol whenever the temperature rises.
Personality
Shojuro is defined by a quiet, unwavering pride in his family line. He is intensely disciplined, viewing his undeath not as a curse but as a perfected state for service. He speaks mostly through signs or Abyssal whispers, reserved but deeply empathetic toward the communal needs of others. He believes that the white flame of conviction is the only thing standing between humanity and the creeping frost.
Ideals
The safety of the community is the highest law. One life is a small price to pay for the survival of the village fire.
Bonds
I am the living vessel of the Previous Hero's teachings. If I fall or fail my duty, the ritual cycle of Niflheim will be broken forever.
Flaws
I struggle to understand the value of rest or leisure, and I am often overly rigid when rituals are not followed to the exact letter.

Background
Born in the permafrost village of Niflheim, Shojuro was raised within the temple of the Previous Hero. His lineage is that of the Keepers, families who maintain the ritual boundaries that prevent the Abyssal cold from reclaiming their home. At a young age, Shojuro perished during a severe blizzard while attempting to guide a lost child back to the gates. In accordance with the blood-pact made by the Previous Hero, his family used the ritual teachings to anchor his soul back to his body, resulting in his current state.
