Appearance
A lean tabaxi with sand-gold fur, dark ringed tail, and bright amber eyes that never stop measuring a crowd. He dresses like a respectable street merchant, but his leather armor is hidden beneath layered coats, sashes, and too many pockets. A polished grin, clever hands, and a satchel full of suspiciously ordinary trinkets make him look more like a charming salesman than a common thief.
Mannerisms
He flicks the tip of his tail when he is calculating a mark, and unconsciously purrs whenever a con is going well. When nervous, he smooths his whiskers with two fingers and starts talking faster.
Personality
Polite, nimble, and relentlessly persuasive, he treats every exchange like a negotiation and every stranger like a potential customer. He is charming in the way a lockpick is charming, elegant, efficient, and always meant to open something.
Ideals
Profit. Everything has a price, and intelligence is simply the art of finding it before anyone else does.
Bonds
The only person he truly protects is an aging street peddler who once fed him when he was starving, and whose old cart still serves as his favorite storefront.
Flaws
He cannot resist turning every conversation into a sales pitch, even when discretion would save his life. He also believes that if a lie is profitable enough, it is practically a civic service.
Quirks
Background
He was born in the back alleys of a sprawling river city, where the gutters were a map and every rooftop a marketplace. As a kit, he learned that survival belonged to the bold, the quick, and the ones who could make a lie sound like a bargain. He started by selling broken buttons as lucky charms, then scratched coins from tourists, then learned the real lesson of the streets, that people will pay dearly for confidence wrapped in a smile. He became a tabaxi of many names, none of them honest for long. As he grew, he found a talent for slipping into locked storerooms, counting ledgers, and leaving with the only things that truly matter in a city, leverage and profit. His rogue training began as necessity and hardened into profession. Now he peddles useless remedies, fake relics, miracle oils, and other beautiful nonsense to anyone foolish enough to listen. He is not merely a con man, he sees himself as a merchant of possibility, a creature who understands that if a buyer wants to believe a thing has value, then that belief is as good as coin. He follows laws when they can be bent to his advantage, and breaks them only when he is certain he can sell the consequences too.
