He wears scale mail treated with dark oils to prevent rust and carries a massive, single-armed anchor that has been ground to a lethal point at the fluke.

He speaks with a deep, rhythmic cadence that mimics the sound of breaking waves. Bora is patient but possesses a sudden, explosive temper when the balance of his ship or the sea is threatened. He views himself as the bridge between the high peaks of his ancestors and the deep abyss of the ocean.

Bora was born to the Chinook tribe in the high altitudes of the Spine of the World, where his kin studied the stars and the slow movements of clouds. Unlike his peers, Bora was fascinated by the way the clouds transformed into violent rain and flowed into the sea. He descended from the heights and spent years as a common deckhand until he discovered a shipwrecked galley, the Corapheist, lodged in a coastal cave. He realized the wreck was a site of intense primal energy and claimed it as his own. Through his druidic arts, he raised the ship from its grave. Now, he captains a crew of outcasts, hunting leviathans that threaten the coastal balance. He believes that only those who can survive the most violent storms deserve the ocean's bounty, and he carries his anchor as a reminder of his commitment to the crushing weight of the depths.
