Appearance
Gova is a slender, tall elf with pale skin and silver-blonde hair pulled back into a practical knot. He wears polished scale mail that glints with a metallic blue hue, accented by the white and gold vestments of his temple. His eyes are a striking, steady gray, and he carries a longbow carved from pale yew wood that looks as much like a ritual object as a weapon.
Mannerisms
Gova speaks in a soft, melodic voice and rarely blinks when he is listening to someone. He tends to clasp his hands together in a prayer-like gesture when he is deep in thought or waiting.
Personality
I have spent so much time in the silence of the temple and the quiet of the woods that I find social banter exhausting. I prefer to speak in scripture or well-worn proverbs. I am patient, observant, and I believe that every action must serve a higher purpose or the law of the natural world.
Ideals
Law. The world functions best when every creature follows the divine and natural laws that govern existence. To break these laws is to invite chaos and suffering.
Bonds
I would sacrifice my life to protect the sacred texts and artifacts of my temple. I carry a small prayer book that was given to me by my mentor, and I write a new entry for every life I am forced to take.
Flaws
I am often too quick to judge those who live outside the law or lack spiritual discipline. My rigid adherence to ritual can make me inflexible in desperate situations.

Background
Gova was raised within the cloisters of a mountain temple dedicated to the Preservation of Life. While the clerics studied ancient scrolls and tended the sick, Gova was drawn to the perimeter. He realized that the sanctity of the temple could only be maintained if the encroaching shadows of the surrounding forest were kept at bay. He trained not only in the theology of his order but in the practical arts of tracking and archery, becoming a sentinel for the faith. He treats the woods as his cathedral and his hunt as a form of active meditation. He was recently sent out from the temple to reclaim a lost reliquary, a task that forces him to bring his structured, lawful life into the chaotic world outside the temple walls. He views his ranger skills as a gift from the gods, using them to cleanse the land of unnatural abominations and guide travelers safely through the wilds.
