Appearance
Arbor is a slight, copper-red tiefling woman with curling black horns, deep violet eyes, and long dark hair braided with bits of dried ivy. Her skin is a muted crimson, marked by faint golden freckles across her cheeks. She wears practical scale mail beneath green and cream vestments, carries a polished wooden mace, and keeps her holy symbol wrapped in living vines.
Mannerisms
Arbor whispers a brief blessing over injured people before touching them. When nervous, she rubs the vine around her holy symbol and unconsciously counts nearby exits.
Personality
Arbor is soft-spoken, attentive, and relentlessly encouraging. She treats wounded strangers like old friends and asks plants for permission before cutting their stems. Although she is not especially clever or physically capable, she approaches every problem with calm persistence and an almost stubborn faith that kindness can create an opening where force cannot.
Ideals
Mercy. No one should be denied compassion because of their blood, faith, station, or past mistakes.
Bonds
The abandoned shrine where Arbor was raised is slowly collapsing, and she is determined to restore it into a sanctuary open to anyone in need.
Flaws
Arbor is painfully eager to prove that she is good, and she sometimes accepts dangerous burdens simply because refusing would feel like confirming everyone’s worst assumptions about tieflings.

Background
Arbor was born beneath the shadow of an abandoned roadside shrine, where her tiefling mother served as a caretaker for travelers who had nowhere else to go. The shrine belonged to a gentle goddess of renewal, and the local clergy initially distrusted Arbor because of her infernal heritage. Arbor answered their suspicion with patience, tending the sick, cleaning the altar, and memorizing prayers long before she understood all their meanings. In time, the shrine's oldest priest recognized that Arbor's compassion was not something she had inherited from a bloodline, but something she chose every day. As an acolyte, Arbor learned the rites of healing and protection, though her weak constitution and poor grasp of doctrine often made her a frustrating student. Her first miracle came when she placed her hands over a dying gardener and begged not for victory, but for one more season of flowers. The gardener survived, and a single green shoot emerged from the cracked shrine floor. Since then, Arbor has traveled beyond the shrine to bring comfort to the wounded and to prove that a person's nature is defined by their deeds. She secretly fears that her small miracles are accidents, but she continues forward, hoping persistence itself can become a form of faith.
