He wears layered silk robes of deep indigo and gold, and his eyes look like swirling nebulae. He never quite touches the ground when he walks, his feet hovering a fraction of an inch above the floor.

He often speaks in metaphors about the weight of existence and the pull of the stars. Despite his ethereal nature, he is an upstart and a bit of a show-off, eager to prove that his gravitational magic is the ultimate expression of cosmic truth.

Kaelen was born during a rare celestial alignment when the Elemental Plane of Air touched the Astral Sea. While many Genasi are born to genie parents, Kaelen claims he was distilled from the very stardust of the upper firmament. He was raised in a mountain monastery of astronomers, but he found their passive observation boring. He wanted to manipulate the forces they only dared to name. He stole a celestial sapphire from the monastery's high altar, discovering that the gem reacted to his inherent air nature by manifesting gravitational shifts. This 'upstart' behavior led to his exile, which he treated as a grand tour of the lower realms. He travels the world now, convinced that he is not a god, but certainly something much more interesting than a mere mortal. He seeks to find the 'anchor points' of the world to see what happens when he gives them a little tug.
