Appearance
Aurelia is a tall, graceful drow woman with obsidian skin, silver-white hair braided with tiny black spider charms, and luminous violet eyes. Her beauty is refined rather than soft, sharpened by a perpetually assessing gaze. She wears blackened chain mail beneath a priestess-inspired crimson cloak, with a slender sabre at her hip and a spider-shaped holy symbol at her throat. Fine ritual scars form a subtle web pattern along her left collarbone.
Mannerisms
Aurelia pauses before answering difficult questions, as if listening to a spider hidden in the room. She rarely blinks during an interrogation, and she tilts her head at the same angle as a curious hunting spider when someone lies.
Personality
I am exquisitely polite when I am most dangerous. I study every room for exits, hidden witnesses, and the person most likely to betray the group. I enjoy beautiful things, but I trust useful things more.
Ideals
Truth is a web. Every lie, betrayal, and secret leaves a strand behind, and I will pull until the guilty are exposed, regardless of who gets caught in the collapse.
Bonds
The temple that raised me is my true family, and I will uncover whoever has been stealing sacred relics from its deepest sanctum. I also carry a black egg of unknown origin, which I believe may hatch into proof of my divine lineage.
Flaws
I mistake obedience for virtue and often assume that anyone who resists questioning must be hiding guilt. I am terrified that my supposed divinity is only a story invented by priestesses who needed a useful weapon.

Background
Aurelia Malice was born beneath a moonless sky in a cavern where the stone itself glittered with strands of living silk. The priestesses who attended her birth claimed that the first spider to crawl across her swaddling cloth bore the mark of Lolth, and they took the infant as a sacred possession. Whether she truly carries the Spider Queen's blood or merely became the vessel of a powerful religious myth, Aurelia has never been permitted to doubt her divine parentage. The temple raised her among incense, venom, whispered doctrine, and carefully staged cruelty. She learned that beauty could disarm a rival, that a well-placed question could destroy a reputation, and that spiders were not vermin but silent witnesses waiting for the proper command.
“The temple raised her among incense, venom, whispered doctrine, and carefully staged cruelty.”
