Appearance
Arkovoluska stands exactly six feet tall, a rare and imposing height for his ravenfolk kin. His feathers are the color of a moonless night, possessing an oily sheen that reflects faint light. His eyes are two deep pits of burning red, showing neither pity nor warmth. He wears expertly crafted studded leather in black and silver, designed with high collars and sharp lines reminiscent of northern military aesthetics.
Mannerisms
He tilts his head sharply from side to side when evaluating a person, much like a predatory bird. He rarely blinks when speaking to someone he dislikes.
Personality
Arkovoluska is a study in restrained hostility. He speaks in a low, raspy whisper that forces others to lean in, only to be met with biting sarcasm or snarky dismissals. He carries himself with a predatory stillness, as if always waiting for a reason to draw steel. While he loathes the arrogance of nobility, he covets their comfort and status, viewing his climb to the top as a rightful reclaiming of what the world owes him.
Ideals
Self Sufficiency. I will never rely on anyone else again, for help is just a pretense for betrayal. Power. The only way to ensure safety is to sit above everyone else.
Bonds
I carry a silver button stolen from a nobleman's coat during my first theft. It reminds me of the distance between where I am and where I will be.
Flaws
My pride is easily wounded, and I find it impossible to ignore even the smallest insult from those I deem inferior.

Background
Born in the suffocating squalor of Baltruvska's poor district, Arkovoluska was greeted by death and desertion. His mother died in the strain of his birth, and his father, a low level thug, abandoned him when the burden of a child outweighed his self interest. The streets of Baltruvska were his only mentors, teaching him that only those who can kill or steal ever escape the mud. He survived as a runner for the city's various criminal syndicates, using his unnatural height and pitch black wings to navigate the rooftops and eavesdrop on those who considered themselves safe. Despite his humble and tragic origins, Arkovoluska refuses to be seen as a victim. He has spent years refining his gear and his mannerisms to mimic the high born, even as he exploits them. He fights with a heavy flail to crush the armor of those he hates, though his true lethality lies in the dagger he keeps hidden against his spine. His goal is to enter the high courts not as a servant, but as a peer whose presence makes the established elite tremble.
