Once per turn, deal an extra 1d6 damage to a qualifying target with a Finesse or ranged weapon attack.

After hitting a creature with a mastered Shortbow, Tavo has Advantage on his next attack roll against that creature before the end of his next turn.

Appearance
A lean, medium-height human man with warm brown skin, cropped black hair, and alert hazel eyes. He dresses in a well-maintained but badly fitted leather coat over soft travel clothes, with careful stitches visible at the cuffs and knees. His boots are scuffed but meticulously oiled, and one plain brass ring is polished far more often than anything else he owns. His voice is low and quick, with clipped words when calm. When rattled, he begins breathing through his nose in sharp, measured pulls and his speech becomes startlingly formal.
Mannerisms
Tavo taps two fingers against his thumb when counting possibilities. He checks every door latch without seeming to look at it, keeps his back near walls, and adjusts his right cuff before telling a lie. When frightened, his breathing becomes audible and regular, as if he is trying to turn panic into arithmetic.
Personality
Tavo is observant, dryly funny, and unfailingly polite to people who work for a living. He speaks to nobles with exaggerated courtesy, treats children as serious negotiators, and has a habit of noticing what everyone else has left unattended. He prefers plans with three exits, but his conscience has a way of adding a fourth.
Ideals
Freedom. No guild, lord, church, or law should own a person's choices. If a rule exists only to protect the powerful, breaking it is a form of justice.
Bonds
My family taught me everything I know, and I will not let their name become nothing but a criminal record. I secretly send coin and useful information back to the relatives who still depend on the old trade.
Flaws
I cannot resist proving that I am the cleverest person in the room, especially when someone insults my family. I also keep secrets long after honesty would be safer, because admitting fear feels too much like surrender.
Quirks
Background
Tavo grew up in the narrow lanes of Luskan, in a family that treated thievery as both trade and inheritance. His grandmother lifted purses from sailors, his father opened locks for smugglers, and his older sisters could tell a wealthy merchant by the way his boots scuffed the street. Tavo learned early that a Rogue survived less by being unseen than by being underestimated. He was taught to count windows, remember faces, and leave a room looking exactly as it had before he entered it, except for the thing he had come to take. The family tradition fractured when Tavo discovered that one of his father's jobs involved stealing medicine from a neighborhood healer who treated dockworkers for free. Tavo returned the medicine, exposed the buyer, and earned both a beating and a permanent place on a local gang's list of nuisances. He left Luskan with two daggers, a crowbar, and the family's old rulebook of coded gestures. Now he works as a burglar, courier, and occasional rescuer, choosing jobs that inconvenience the powerful and quietly help people who have no chance of fighting back. He insists he is preserving the family craft, though everyone who knows him can see he is trying to turn it into something better.
