Gear
4 itemsGear
- Travel clothesModern streetwear and travel-ready layers chosen to fit an orc physique, tough enough for life on the road.
- Explorer's packA sturdy pack with bedroll, mess kit, tinderbox, torches, rations, rope, and waterskin, reflecting her life on the road.
- Hand wrapsWrapped fists reinforced with cloth and leather, treated as part of her fighting style rather than a weapon.
- Worn tokenA keepsake token from home, worn on a cord at her belt.
Appearance
A towering female orc with moss-green skin, dense braids tied back for movement, scarred knuckles, and broad shoulders built like a battering ram. She dresses in modern athletic clothes, reinforced hand wraps, a sleeveless hoodie under a battered open jacket, and heavy boots. Her stance is loose and spring-loaded, like every conversation might become a sparring match, but her eyes are warm and alert.
Mannerisms
She cracks her knuckles before speaking seriously, rolls her shoulders when thinking, and stands half a step closer than most people expect. When she is pleased, she taps two fingers against her sternum like a boxer acknowledging a good round.
Personality
Warm-hearted, stubborn, and highly competitive in the smallest possible ways. She is protective of the weak, suspicious of polished lies, and oddly delighted by good manners when they are sincere. In a fight she is fearless, in a conversation she is direct, and with friends she is playful enough to turn almost any task into a contest.
Ideals
Dignity. No one gets to decide what kind of life a strong soul is allowed to live, and she fights for the right to choose her own path, and to defend that right for others.
Bonds
She sends money and gifts home whenever she can, because she remembers what it felt like to go hungry while the adults pretended not to notice. She also keeps the old battered hand wraps of her first coach, who taught her that mercy and violence are both choices.
Flaws
She hates being treated like a monster or a novelty, and if someone talks down to her, she may take the bait just to prove a point. She trusts directness more than wisdom, which means she sometimes mistakes blunt confidence for truth. When she feels cornered, her first answer is usually to hit harder.
Quirks
Background
Brakka was born in the hard country where the roads ended and survival started. Her people expected her to grow into a raider, a laborer, or another name on someone else's ledger of debts. Instead, she grew into a fighter who could end arguments with her fists and then apologize with a shared meal. She learned early that strength was not only about breaking things, it was about refusing to break yourself when every door was closed. By the time she was old enough to travel, she could hit like a falling anvil and keep standing after blows that would have put others in the dirt. She left the wilderness because it had taught her everything it could, and nothing she wanted. In the cities, she found fight clubs, backroom bouts, and cramped gyms where people bet on pain. There she discovered the sweet science, a discipline of footwork, timing, and rhythm that turned her natural violence into something sharper. She never became a polished champion, but she became something more dangerous, a woman who could read a shoulder twitch, answer a feint with a body shot, and keep coming when the crowd thought she was finished. Adventure suits her because it is just another ring, and she has never been afraid of a larger opponent.
