- Favored EnemyLevel 1
Stravos has selected humanoids, orcs, as his favored enemy. He has advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks to track them and Intelligence checks to recall information about them. He also learns one language of his choice associated with his favored enemy, Orc.
- Natural ExplorerLevel 1
Stravos is particularly familiar with one type of natural environment, forests. When making an Intelligence or Wisdom check related to this favored terrain, his proficiency bonus is doubled if he is using a skill he is proficient in. While traveling for an hour or more in forests, difficult terrain does not slow his group's travel, his group cannot become lost except by magical means, and he remains alert to danger even while engaged in other activity. If traveling alone, he can move stealthily at a normal pace, finds twice as much food while foraging, and can track other creatures while also learning their exact number, sizes, and how long ago they passed through the area.

Appearance
Stravos is a broad-shouldered half-orc with gray-green skin, a prominent lower tusk, and long black hair usually tied behind his head. His amber eyes are alert despite the tired shadows beneath them. He wears battered scale mail beneath a weather-stained cloak, with two shortswords at his hips and a longbow across his back. A worn gaming set and a flask are always close at hand.
Mannerisms
Stravos rolls a coin across his knuckles when thinking, taps the hilt of his shortsword before entering unfamiliar places, and raises one eyebrow whenever someone makes a promise. When anxious, he quietly counts exits, windows, and possible escape routes.
Personality
Stravos is optimistic in a worn, stubborn way. He expects the next road to bring something better, even when the last one did not. He presents himself as a lone wolf, preferring to travel without relying on anyone, but he is quick to defend companions once he accepts them as part of his pack.
Ideals
Freedom. No clan, law, debt, or promise should have the power to own another person.
Bonds
He is determined to find the lost family his mother told him about, no matter how far he must travel or how much trouble he must endure.
Flaws
He gambles whenever he sees an opportunity and often takes the easy way out, even when patience, honesty, or courage would serve him better.
Quirks
Background
Stravos was raised by his human mother, who filled his childhood with stories about his orc side of the family. She spoke of distant relatives, harsh lands, and a bloodline that had never truly vanished. Stravos believed those stories were a promise that he belonged somewhere. When his mother died, the stories were all he had left, and the silence afterward became impossible to bear. He survived by drifting from settlement to settlement, first working as a tracker and later using his knowledge of roads and wild places to assist criminals with smuggling, scouting, and quiet escapes. Gambling and drinking became easy ways to fill the emptiness, even when they left him poorer and more alone. Now Stravos travels as a ranger, following rumors of orc clans, missing travelers, and forgotten family names. He hopes every road will lead him to the family he lost, or at least to someone willing to stay.
