Appearance
Malice is a tall, athletic drow woman with obsidian skin, white hair cut in severe layers, and vivid crimson eyes. Her left arm is deliberately left bare from shoulder to wrist, marked with fine ritual scars and spider-shaped ink. She wears fitted studded leather beneath layered violet and red robes, tied with a broad sash that conceals throwing blades, wire, and poison vials. A curved scimitar rests at her hip, while a shorter blade rides inverted beneath her sleeve. Her expression is calm and devotional, almost tender, even when preparing to kill.
Mannerisms
Malice speaks softly and formally, as if every conversation were a religious ceremony. She pauses before drawing a weapon, closes her eyes for one breath, and whispers a private dedication to Lolth. She addresses spiders as honored witnesses and never steps on one deliberately.
Personality
Malice is disciplined, patient, and unnervingly sincere. She enjoys the structure of military ritual, but her actual combat style is sly, opportunistic, and vicious. She is curious about surface customs, especially anything involving formal duels, poetry, or sword etiquette, though she usually corrupts what she learns into a tool of intimidation. She has little interest in comfort, praise, or companionship unless they further her usefulness to Lolth.
Ideals
Purpose. A person is most beautiful when completely given to a greater will. I will become the perfect instrument of Lolth, even if nothing recognizable as Malice remains.
Bonds
Lolth is my mother, commander, and only true patron. I will destroy anyone who mocks her dominion or attempts to sever my connection to her.
Flaws
I mistake obedience for virtue and interpret doubt as betrayal. When Lolth gives me no sign, I become reckless, desperate to force an answer through bloodshed.

Background
Malice was born Aurelia Travra, the third daughter of a minor but fiercely ambitious house in Menzoberranzan. From infancy, every lesson pointed toward the priesthood of Lolth. She learned sacred genealogies before she learned kindness, and was taught that obedience was the only shape a useful life could take. During a punishment rite in the House's spider chapel, a living swarm descended upon her without biting. The priestesses called it a sign of favor. Malice understood it differently. In the darkness beneath the altar, she heard what she believed was Lolth's command, not to serve as a priestess, but to become a blade that needed no hand to guide it. She abandoned the name Aurelia, left House Travra behind, and took the name Malice as an act of consecration. She trained with the weapons of surface samurai described in stolen travelogues, adapting their curved blades, layered robes, formal stances, and strict discipline to the merciless doctrines of the Spider Queen. Her Way of the Black Widow rejects honorable combat as a surface weakness. It favors ambushes, poisoned edges, concealed weapons, feigned retreats, and killing the enemy's confidence before killing the enemy. Malice now travels as Lolth's self-appointed general, seeking worthy targets, useful secrets, and signs that her divine mother has noticed her latest offering.
