- Military RankSoldier
You have a military rank from your career as a soldier. Soldiers loyal to your former military organization still recognize your authority and influence, and they defer to you if they are of a lower rank. You can invoke your rank to exert influence over other soldiers and requisition simple equipment or horses for temporary use. You can also usually gain access to friendly military encampments and fortresses where your rank is recognized.

Appearance
Mok is a broad-shouldered mountain dwarf with soot-stained skin and hair the color of coal. His beard is kept in tight, practical braids but is often messy with the dried blood of his enemies. He wears heavy chain mail that has been dented and scarred by numerous battles, and he carries a battleaxe that looks more like a butcher's tool than a soldier's weapon.
Mannerisms
He has a habit of leaning into people's personal space when he wants to intimidate them, using his bulk to loom over even taller subjects.
Personality
Mok is ruthlessly ambitious and views empathy as a fatal flaw in others. He speaks in short, demanding bursts and treats every interaction as a transaction where he must come out on top.
Ideals
Power. The only thing that matters in this world is the strength to take what you want and the will to keep it.
Bonds
I will reclaim my rightful place as a warlord, and I will see the citadel that exiled me burn to the ground.
Flaws
My obsession with authority often leads me to underestimate those I perceive as inferior or weak.
Quirks
Background
Mok was once a sergeant in a great dwarven citadel infantry. He grew tired of taking orders from lords he considered weak and decadent. During a skirmish, he let his commander fall to enemy blades so he could seize control of the unit. When his treachery was nearly discovered, he fled into the surface world, taking his blood-stained axe with him. He views every encounter as an opportunity to gain leverage, coin, or fear. He believes that might is the only true law. He doesn't just want to live. He wants to rule a kingdom built on the bones of those who stood in his way.
